A true gem! A warm, family-owned business where you can taste the love in every bite. The lamb sub on perfectly baked bread was outstanding, tender, and full of flavor. The Greek salad was fresh and vibrant, and the baklava was hands down one of the best I have ever had, sweet, flaky, and clearly made with care. Everything feels homemade and full of heart. This is officially my new favorite place, and I will be back!

So this is probably the worst of the worst restaurant i ever went to ever!! I visited wensday 10/sep around 8pm first of all the lady who was talking the order is extremely rude, I did ask for fountain drink with order and then the coke we’re coming from the machine was taste like flat like water i told her to change it to me to can and i get so rude attitude, i went to set outside waiting for the order she came with very dry face drop the food on the table without even saying a word!!about the food it was definitely disgusting and taste like nothing the rice doesn’t have any seasoning or anything the meat is uncooked and taste weird the bread was super old and dry, in the top of that i find a little Insect swimming in tabbouleh!! If that mean anything that means they never wash the parsley, i didn’t want to finish this terrible meal!! Very disappointed, i DO NOT suggest this place!!

My family and I have gone here since I was in highschool! (2010 ) And the food has always been reliably delicious. Seasoned well, made fresh, and a wide array of options. Anytime I’m in town visiting my family this spot is on the list! I’m partial to the falafel platter and my family comes every week for gyros. Owners are very kind and friendly! My favorite thing is the sage tea. If you have time to sit and relax it is a must.

I can’t believe I just found this place! Unbelievably fresh, flavorful, and so delicious. The owner came out and checked on us three times and gave us baklava to try. Recommend Chicken Shawermah and Beef and Lamb Gyro. The hummus was incredible as was the Tahineh. And the baklava was heavenly deliciousness. We will return as often as possible!!

somehow i have missed this restaurant in the past 6 years of traveling to or living in Durham. its easy to miss when driving down 9th street! excellent Lebanese-Palestinian restaurant serving the best food on 9th street for sure. warning- the green hot sauce is insanely hot. really great flavor but its the real deal. hummus is solid, pita not bad, tabouleh pretty good, falafel is flavorful, crispy, and excellent. comfy casual atmosphere with booths and they also had some great habibi-techno music playing on the speakers. to me the flavors in general couldve been a little more tasty (i wonder if the food is possibly less spiced to appeal to the local crowd?) but definitely a 4/5 and this type of food is extremely uncommon around so i will definitely be supporting as much as possible. many vegan and vegetarian dishes on the menu!

I ordered through a delivery app. The food is delicious! The Gyro is flavorful, the pita soft and chewy. The ONLY negative, I did not receive ANY tzatziki, and asked for extra. The Gyro platters were DRY without it. I was very disappointed.

I got the Kufta Kebob platter and the meat was very dry, unseasoned and not flavorful. It was extremely disappointing, especially compared to other Mediterranean food I’ve had before. After looking at other reviews it seems like other customers had the same complaints about the platter indicating that this is a consistent issue. I wouldn’t recommend ordering this dish.

That being said, the hummus and side salad tasted good. I also tried the gyro platter which was okay — the meat wasn’t tough and dry like the Kufta. If I return I’ll probably stick to a gyro wrap when I order.

My wife & I ate lunch at noon on a Saturday, so few other customers were there. Our first visit, and we’re not experts at Middle Eastern cuisine. I chose the Signature Bowl with quinoa instead of rice. It was tasty, though the marinade seemed to overwhelm the chicken flavor. The hummus & warm pita were nice! My wife tried the Chicken Shawermah. She says it seemed a bit dry (perhaps coming off the grill), and didn’t taste like that item when she makes it in oven at home. Service was fast, portions were good size. We didn’t try desserts this time. Interesting wall “posters” with currencies from around the world.
