Food was a little slow to start coming out but once it started coming out the kitchen was rolling and food kept coming out.
Everything was on point, bartenders and servers were great. Staff was great.
Looking forward to going back again. Only complaint if I had one was we left to walk around and came back and they said it would be a like $30 cover charge for us to get back in. So wasn’t a fan of that especially after we just dined there but I also understand.
Lastly get the Brussel Sprouts and thank me later. Almost didn’t order them but they’re the best Brussel Sprouts I’ve ever had.
The food was fresh, hot, well seasoned and served rather quickly.
However, I am writing to formally express my concern and disappointment regarding the service we received and the ordering process. We did not have a reservation, so we waited patiently until a table became available so we could sit down and order food and drinks. After being seated, no staff member approached our table to assist us. I understand that it was a busy evening, so I politely asked a staff member standing nearby with a scanner if he worked there and if he could assist us.
His response was concerning and unprofessional. He stated that he would take our drink order only if we would “look out for him,” and that we would need to go to the bar ourselves to order food. While we always tip for service, the way this was presented made it seem like service was conditional upon a guaranteed tip, which felt inappropriate and unprofessional.
The bar area was extremely crowded, so we agreed to order drinks through him and stated that we would tip. We initially ordered two lemon drop martinis, but shortly afterward decided to change our order. He informed us that we were required to pay for the drinks because he had already entered them into the system and they were “already made.” However, based on the timing, literally seconds, I know for fact it haven’t been made. When we explained that we did not want the drinks, he became dismissive and told us that we had to leave. He then made hand gestures rushing us to get up and exit the table.
I was shocked by how rudely and unprofessionally the situation was handled. At no point did we behave disrespectfully, and we were simply trying to understand the ordering process and receive service like any other guests. This interaction made us feel unwelcome and uncomfortable.
Unfortunately, I did not obtain the employee’s name, but I clearly remember his appearance. I strongly recommend that this situation be reviewed and that staff receive reinforcement on proper customer service standards and professionalism. This experience does not reflect the level of service one would expect from such a beautiful and well-presented establishment.
I hope you take this concern seriously and address it appropriately, as customer experience is a critical part of any successful business.
