Okay so, they have a strange contract and they deemed that our schools clubs selling food for funds is “competition” to their food. And let me tell you, THE FOOD IS SO BAD. The food is not only bad, but their company is so selfish that they hardly pay the workers here too. Not only do most clubs suffer because they can’t sell snacks anymore, but thats the only food that most kids eat because they dont want to eat the cafeteria food. I don’t eat the food because they taste bland and dry or soggy, mostly everyday, i eat a granola bar and call it a day.

This company is responsible for the food given to our children in cartwright district. The quality of food at my daughters’ school is deteriorating daily. When it improves slightly, there is still an insufficient amount. While some children have enough to eat, others do not. Where are the individuals in charge? Do they not care about what our kids eat? Do they just want money? Previously, the food was far superior compared to now. What is going on in the Cartwright district?

This company has a contract with Sikeston R-6 school district and is doing a horrible job at making sure our children are getting decent quality and filling meals while at school and it is dispicable. Something needs to change. Our children getting enough to eat while at school and good quality should be a number one concern to a company who specializes in food service. If you do not care then do not run a company that feeds public school children. Do better.

They started at our district in Grants NM the rep was really rude interrupting our staff when talking. The sent there so called chef’s to cook breakfast. The food they served was burn and tasted horrible. These were the people they sent to train our cooks. Very sad the deserve there 2.3 star rating. I think even that is been generous. Make you think how a company that performs so poorly can even get a contract.

The portion sizes are so small it made me sad to serve the trays to the kids when working here. 2 french toast sticks as the main dish? A 1 year old can eat that much. Lunches are getting near $3. Not worth it at all. The worst part is throwing away TONS of food instead of just serving it to the kids “because they had no money.” It’s disgusting. Lunches are going to start being charged again this next school year. Lots of kids are going to be more hungry than they already are.

Children are always coming home hungry because the food is so awful. It was brought to the school boards attention the first week of school and the school board spoke with the Southwest foodservice and the problem hasn’t even improved just a little bit.
