The food was amazingly good. You just have to experience it for yourself. I can’t say enough good about it. My entire meal was made from scratch from the bread to the dessert. Who ever it is doing the cooking here really knows what they are doing. I can’t wait for my next visit

I love to try new restaurants but this one just did not sit well with me. From the moment I walked into the restaurant, I felt very uncomfortable. Considering the area, the customers and staff were not very friendly. On top of that, unfortunately my food was extremely under seasoned and just not that good. Their baked goods however are fairly nice. Maybe I went on a bad day, as I’ve heard the breakfast is very nice. But I won’t be visiting again

I have been traveling down to this area for the past 16 years for work. The highlight of my trips has been lunch here. Through the years I have tried most of the menu. It is all great but the specials are always the best! The staff and service is always fantastic. I highly recommend you stop here if you are in the area.

Totally awesome country home cooked meal!!! I had the lunch special which included fried chicken fingers, field peas, mash potatoes, cornbread, onion and tomato slices, peanut butter pie and ice water. The fried chicken finger receipt was just like my mom’s; brought back great memories of her cooking and a tear to my eye ! Oh, and they are not stingy with the portions; I was miserably full !!!! Great atmosphere and the other patrons were friendly and welcoming as well as the employees! I will definitely be back, as well as, inquiring if they cater as far as Opelika!!!!

Just passing thru and was hungry for breakfast. Saw this cute little Cafe with a charming old dog to greet us. The waitress was sweet and fast. The Cafe was very clean and comfy.
Food was amazing. We had the matthew. It was so good we loved it. The biscuit was the only bad part. They were terrible. But with food that good we just won’t order a biscuit next time. Will definitely go again. Can’t wait to try more things.
