Beans & Brews Coffee House has been crafting exceptional coffee since 1993, when the Laramie family opened their first shop near Salt Lake City’s Liberty Park. Inspired by Utah’s mountains, we perfected high-altitude roasting to create smooth, bold flavors that set us apart. From our roots in Utah, we’ve grown into a beloved community across Idaho, Nevada, Colorado, Missouri, and Texas. At “Beans,” as our friends call us, we’re all about great coffee and even better connections. Regulars, newcomers, and travelers alike are always welcome—stop by and see why we’re more than just a coffee house. Cheers to good coffee and great company!

I’ve been visiting Beans & Brews weekly for many, many years, and I’ve always valued supporting this local shop over any big chain. Unfortunately, after my experience this week, you’ve completely lost my business.
On Tuesday, my order was made incorrectly. I didn’t catch it until after I had already left. The next day, I came through the drive-through again and politely let the barista know what happened. I wasn’t asking for anything outrageous—just a simple courtesy gesture like “buy one, get one” to make up for the mistake. Instead, I was met with a snarky attitude and a dismissive “let me see what I can do.”
What I was offered? A whole one dollar off my two-drink order. That is, without question, one of the most pathetic attempts at customer service I’ve ever seen—especially from a place I have supported consistently for years. It showed zero appreciation for loyal customers and even less accountability for your own mistake.
The woman who worked the drive-through that morning needs to be coached immediately. Her attitude and response cost you a loyal customer—one who chose you over the Starbucks that is literally a 30-second walk away.
Beans & Brews, you failed miserably here. I expected better from a store I’ve stood by for so long. Corporate will hear about this, because this level of service is unacceptable.
You do have one opportunity to make this right. If you care at all about your customers—and about keeping them—you can respond appropriately here. Do that, and maybe my red Tesla and I will return. Otherwise, you’ve officially lost me.
Beans and Brews is so much better than neighbor Starbucks, by a large margin. The coffee is fantastic, the breakfast stuff is actually really good too. They spend the extra time to get to know people who come in there, Starbucks don’t care who you are. But Beans and Brews does. They also do Pup Cups. Bring your dog through the drive thru, and grah a pup cup!
Skip Dutch, Starbucks, even Black Rifle. Give Beans and Brews a shot, go in and talk with em a little bit.
You’ll give em the same 5 star I am.
I promise.
<3 them all in there, Hannah, Lana, Frances, and the lot.
