This place was such a great find! The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming perfect for a relaxed family lunch or a little getaway meal. I loved the jukebox(10 dollars for 8 songs); it gave the space a fun, nostalgic touch that made the experience even better.
The food was yummy, and the habanero sauce was fantastic which is definitely a highlight! Everything felt comfortable, laid-back, and enjoyable.
Overall a really nice spot with good energy, great flavors, and a family-friendly feel. I’d happily come back again.

Great food. All the NFL games were on! Service was top notch. Will definitely be back. Also ate in the dining room (out of the way) with my dog. They offered her water and never battes an eye. This place is top tier.

We arrived in Lake Placid late Wednesday night. We popped into Wiseguys to grab something to eat but as per usual in the US everything closes early but they were so lovely hadn’t turned off there fryers yet and offered to make us anything deep fried which was very nice of them. So we ordered buffalo wings and fries to keep it easy. All I can say it the WINGS ARE TO DIE FOR!!!! If you’re ever in LAKE PLACID PLEASE STOP HERE FOR WINGS THEY ARE AMAZING AND ARE A MOST !!!! There customer service was totally amazing Thank you again WISEGUYS for filling our tummy’s after a long day of travelling…

Found this place off the beaten path when we got into Placid around dinner time on a Friday. Surprised to find it wasn’t very busy and 7 of us got seated right away. Nice variety on the menu and good prices for the area. Food took a little longer than expected and our waiter while apologized didn’t come check if we needed drinks ect during our wait.

We were here in Lake Placid for a hockey tournament and with the storm coming in Massachusetts we decided to stay an extra day so we wouldn’t miss the Patriots playoff game. We searched the internet for a place to watch the game and there was not one place even close to watch it at its fullest than Wiseguys !! Between all the TV’s , food, and atmosphere the reviews were 2nd to none to watch a playoff game ! Wiseguys did not disappoint !! TV’s everywhere , the food excellent , and the staff was like we have known them all our lives !! Chicken wings were ridiculous and the best Rueben we ever had .Our bartender Rhett made our game day over the top ! We had conversations about everything and the tall drinks were A ++++. Thanks again Rhett ! If you want to enjoy a game with all the TV’s , real good food , drink and atmosphere there is no better place that can even come close !! Thanks again Wiseguys !! The 30 to 40 dollars were per person not per plate

First off, no free popcorn. Not sure what the other reviews were talking about. Second, we were pretty disappointed by the food. Two members of our group thought their burgers were good, but we thought the rest of the food was below average. My alfredo pasta was straight up bad. Third, our group was on the younger side, and our server treated us like children. It was very off-putting.

Classic Local cozy sports bar with 20 big TV’s, a pool table & a few dart boards. The Mushroom Swiss Burger was thick & delicious.. the picture doesn’t do it justice.
All the food I saw them bring out was hearty, quality stuff at a reasonable price.

Charles was a wonderful server. He was right, my son ended up placing higher in the Empire State Games SL than he thought he would. He placed 2nd for U18 men. There was a variety of food to choose from. We will definitely be back when he participates in future Alpine races at Whiteface.
