This is my first time eating here. We went through the drive through. Service was friendly and fast. The food is amazing. Meat is tender and flavorful. They give you the option of corn or flour tortillas and I swear they’re homemade. The salsa is delicious. It has cilantro but does not taste like soap. Chips were fresh. The guacamole was even good and I don’t usually like guacamole. This is my new favorite spot.

I will call this the best Mexican food in eastern Jackson County hands-down get their lava pot. That’s not the real name though big stone pot with beef, chicken, shrimp kicks ass even for one you can take some home feeds too easy.

Decided to try Carmens and was very impressed with the whole experience. Food was excellent and the different selections on menu were a great touch for when you’ve had enough of the regular food, these choices are very interesting. All waitresses were very nice and busy and the atmosphere isnt too loud but is very family friendly.

Good food but prices have just been getting higher. They charge for alot of small things now that used to be included. Be careful if they ask you if you want tortillas, it’s asked as if it’s included as an optional thing but they will charge you for them. The women that work there are friendly and are usually pretty good about getting your drinks refilled timely.

This place seemed like a great place to try. But after trying the enchiladas, I will never eat here again. The only thing I could taste was chicken and tortilla. Tried the green sauce by its self an it was absolutely terrible as I was leaving, I realized they made their sauce out of canned tomato paste. If you’re looking for some enchiladas, I highly recommend not eating at this place for them.

Portion size exceeded my expectations, so did the quality. The waitress did a fine job. I didn’t feel like just a number, but more as a guest at their “house”. My only, minor, issue was that the hallway to the bathroom and the bathroom itself could use some updating. It was clean though.
