Ordered 6 pizzas for kids birthday party The pictures of the neapolitan pies on Google resemble straight ahead new york style pies. That is absolutely not what we got. Maybe about 1/2 of the cheese that I would expect. These were basically sauce covered crust with a little bit if cheese. See for yourself. Go with other pies. They are much better. But for $160 these were a huge bummer.

One of the best pizzas I’ve had in Hartford county! We came to try their new purple potato pizza, which no one else in CT is offering. Super unique and totally delicious! Nice little takeout only spot. Next time we’re in the area we’ll have to try their classic cheese, but we were really impressed by their thin, crispy crust on this specialty pizza!

We tried this place for the first time today. We ordered the fried mozzarella and the chicken bacon ranch pizza. The mozzarella was great… perfectly fried. The marinara was a bit bland, I tend to like a spicy marinara… it was good, just not enough to kick for me.
The pizza was good, again, not enough kick. I had to add some serious pepper flakes. The crust was great, the chicken was good. Overall, a decent experience.
This place is take out only, so it can’t really win in the atmosphere category. The young lady who served me was friendly.

Really awesome pizza with fast friendly service! The dough is chewy yet has some snap and crisp! Delicate and savory sauce forms the great base for the cheese and toppings you choose. We opt for the sausage pizza as well as BBQ chicken! I highly recommend this spot. It is take out only!! Enjoy!!!!

E & D Pizza opened in 2014 and stands for the owner’s sons’ names, Enzo and Dario. It is located in a plaza in Avon, CT. It’s a takeout only pizza place with some benches inside. I ordered pizza and a couple of grinders on a Friday afternoon. The place was full of friendly workers and had a restroom available.
I ordered a small Carnivoro pizza for my family; it had spicy pepperoni, bacon, Italian sausage, and meatballs. The dough was chewy and the toppings were good. All in all, a delicious pizza with a ton of toppings. I also ordered a chicken cutlet grinder, it had breaded chicken cutlets, mayo, American cheese, tomato, and lettuce; I enjoyed that, only thing was, there was too much of lettuce, easy fix to remove it. My husband had the chicken Parm grinder and he said it was very good. Overall, a good spot for pizza and a variety of other foods to choose from.

My family and I stopped here to pick up something to eat! It is takeout, very nice and clean! The pizza was great (brick oven), the italiano grinder soooooo good!!!!

Very interesting to know they’ve won CT’s Best Pizza Award 2017-2023, also an award with the Guinness Book of record for the worlds largest pizza!

Solid classic cheese pie. A tad heavy on the cheese for a relatively thin crust. They might use a 25% provolone blend in their mix. It does get a little orange greasy with all that cheese. Great micro-blistering on the crust and undercarriage. Pretty tasty tomato sauce. Bit disappointing they don’t offer seating as it looks like a nice spot to stay and chow, but it’s probably what works best for their business model. The other foods look pretty good too and I will try those next time when I return. The two girls front of house were very pleasant, attentive, and professional as well.

Very tasty ny style -ish pizza. Cooked very well – even browning all around. Good crisp and chew. The highlight is the perfect blend of a flavorful sauce and a great melt on the mozz – it’s like a perfect marriage, can’t tell where the sauce ends and cheese begins… The only opportunity would be a bit more salt and char in the crust to give it some more flavor. Great pie!
