Such an amazing place for a nice meal. Super cozy and such friendly staff. Ty was such a hilarious and generous server, he made our experience wonderful! The food was delicious and their menu is well crafted. I would absolutely reccomend this place we will definitely be back!

All smiles at Barefoot Cafe in Fairfax. They surprised our party of 8 after an amazing hike through Cataract Falls. The service was excellent and the food was fresh and delivered fast to our table. We all were extremely satisfied. A few foodie critics at our table spoke not a word as they gobbled down their sandwiches. I especially appreciated that the staff was extremely accommodating and allowed me to create an order that was not on the menu and it was incredible. I had a grilled chicken and spinach with pesto and sun dried tomatoes on grilled sourdough bread. We will definitely visit again when in the area.

We were on our way to Point Reyes and we found this restaurant on a really beautiful street. We walked in to be welcomed by its really cozy ambience. I got myself poached eggs and Lox, a chocolate chip pancake, and a vegetarian special sandwich for my girl friend. The food was so fulfilling. The person who served the food has been really friendly though I can’t recollect the gentleman’s name. Highly recommend stopping by.

This was a great dinner spot on the Friday night my wife and I arrived in Fairfax for the first time. It had all the qualities we were looking for, a great dinner menu, indoors seating, full bar, and a location right in the downtown area. The service was
outstanding, with Tyrone taking care to make sure we were happy and well fed, and he was very informative and knowlegeable of the menu and the specials. The food was top notch, the salmon special was perfectly cooked and incredibly flavorful, the Crab Cakes were exquisite, and the meatballs were tender and delicious. The Beet Salad could have used some more beets and less greenery, but it was also a great dish. Would definitely come back again next time we are in the area!

This is still my favorite spot to take out of town guests because the food is consistently delicious with large portions and nice presentation. The outside seating is nicely shaded and the indoor space feels hospitable. I have been going here for 20 years and I am happy to say the breakfast continues to be the best in Marin.

This place was so pretty! The food was super good! I got the pesto pasta dish with added chicken. The chicken was juicy and not dry (which some places serve ). Our server, Tyrone, was also very nice and helpful! The food came fast and we were served cornbread to start off! The corn bread looked homemade and was amazing! We were also informed that they serve both gluten free breads and pasta which was perfect for one in our party that don’t eat gluten.
For dessert we shared a pannacotta with strawberry sauce which was very good! It was home made and I could see it was made with real vanilla beans!
Overall food and dessert was way above our expectation and I highly recommend going here!

I had their eggless tofu scramble for lunch. It tasted delicious, and extra savory after adding cholula sauce and salsa. Service was impeccable. Our waiter got our order fast, and food came out what felt like right away.

This reataurant has really great service, with reasonable prices and delicious food. The portions are generous and they bring you sweet/savory cornbread at the beginning of the meal. Plenty of options for meat eaters and vegetarians as well.They have an ample wine selection and a full bar. The bartender made me a tasty gin drink, that was perfect with my meal. I had the eggplant parm and my dinner date had the pappardelle. We were both delighted with the taste!

I randomly found this restaurant when doing a search on yelp. It was a bit of a drive for us, but we were pleasantly surprised all around.
We had eggs Benedict and breakfast potatoes. They had this lovely salsa sitting on the table, so we opted to get some chips before we received our food. Their salsa were fresh and beautiful. I believe the chips were made in-house. Delicious.
When we received our breakfast, everything was hot and plentiful. The eggs were perfect. My wife had poached on her eggs Benedict and I had simple scramble on my potatoes. There are eggs and then are eggs. Hers were perfectly soft poached and mine were silky smooth.
Additionally, Our server was really kind.
We will definitely return. I promise photos next time.
