I have not eaten in a Cracker Barrel in ten years. I have always enjoyed their food. Prices have definitely gone up in those ten years! The customer service was excellent. The food was just ok. I ordered chicken tenders, mashed potatoes and brown gravy and coleslaw. There were several chicken tenders and they tasted fine. They actually tasted better cold the next day. The mashed potatoes were fine but the gravy tasted like it came out of a can. The coleslaw was a bit limp, but tasted ok. My one complaint is the biscuit, corn muffin with butter and jam. The biscuit tasted good but it was almost impossible to open the two tiny butter packets that came with the biscuit and muffin. Why can’t Cracker Barrel provide a small shallow dish with butter and jam? That would have been more helpful. The corn muffin was hard. Overall, it was an ok, pricey lunch with excellent service. I will probably look for a local cafe instead of Cracker Barrel next time I am in town,

It was awful, first it took them 30mins to seat us. Then when we did get to order the food the first time came burnt. They tried to cover it with red sauce. Then second plate looked just awful. I will never go back and they spoiled me from going to any other one.

We visited on 2/14/26. Our waitress, Judy, was very nice and attentive. However, the wait for food was extremely long over 30 minutes. The food was “okay” overall, but the grits were very runny and the bacon wasn’t crispy to my liking.

I ordered online tonight and got curbside pick up. I really wish I’d just gone home. I ordered the campfire beef, steak, and chicken along with the shareable trio. The trio should have been cinnamon rolls, fried pickles, and fried onions. What I got was a raw chicken, no beef, no cinnamon rolls, and a steak so tough we could have chewed shoe leather, and it wouldn’t have been as tough. The only good thing was that the manager was quick to address the issues. I have no complaints about how quickly the manager handled the issue when I called. I live roughly 30 miles aways so I couldn’t have come back to get a fresh order, though the manager offered both for me to get a new order or a refund, which I appreciate.

I really like the food here, and the country charm atmosphere is nice. I did feel as if the woman who waited on us was neglectful in not making sure we had everything we needed, refills, condiments, and all. Otherwise a good experience. Checkout was very friendly and courteous.

Food was very good. They served us quickly despite coming in 30 minutes before closing time. Maybe don’t put a portrait of John C Calhoun on the wall? The architect of Southern nationalism and the father of secession doesn’t need to be displayed in a modern restaurant.

Our server, Cadence, was terrific. The rest of our experience was not. The restaurant was not busy yet we waited 5 minutes to be seated as employees visited and discussed their personal business not two feet away. One of them appeared to be management. Very unprofessional. The food was not what I remember from the last visit to cracker barrel. The veggies tasted like someone opened a can and microwaved them. The country green beans and sweet carrots were once my favorite. The meatloaf was mediocre. I was greeted at the register by a very cheerful and bubbly person. So, overall, very good server and checker.

I usually dine at cracker barrel all the time. While visiting, but my expectations was dashed massively. I understand that there was a new server, but the pure incompetence was above repair. I was then present with a actually bill, we should have been paid to eat at this cracker barrel. We waited over 35 minutes for the food the be brought to the table. In the meantime, we were given biscuits that there hard, as bricks, no butter, and only two biscuits between the two people dinning. One plate for two people to eat on. Just to add to the growing anger several tables are coming in and eating and leaving, we are still awaiting the order. So then the server comes back and asked us, was there anything else she could get for us. I replied YES, our order! She also indicted there were no more plates or biscuits! The manger comes over and indicated that she was going to talk with her, because she was new. I informed the manager that we had been waiting over 35 minutes, plus the biscuits were hard as a rock. She had her bring new basket of biscuits and butter, and two new plates. We should not been presented a bill period. Then, after recieving my order fried Chicken, was told that the 4 pieces of chicken was only available on weekends! Lord have mercy. I really feel that cracker barrel owes mr a huge apology, plus refund of my meal cost, plus time. Horrible experience, while visiting this cracker barrel. I was visiting from out of town, I was totally hurt and felt disrespected.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Outstanding Service and Hospitality!
We an incredible experience today at Cracker Barrel, thanks to the amazing team — especially Manager Warren and our server Kim.
After noticing that our food was taking longer than expected, Warren personally stepped in, went back to the kitchen, and made our meals himself to ensure we were taken care of. He checked in on us multiple times throughout our visit and truly went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. His genuine care and dedication turned what could have been a disappointing situation into one of the most memorable dining experiences we’ve had.
Kim was equally wonderful — warm, friendly, and attentive throughout our meal.
It’s rare to find this level of service and hospitality anymore. Huge thanks to Warren and Kim for turning our visit into such a positive and enjoyable experience. We’ll definitely be back!

Placed an online order for Campfire Chicken and arrived for pickup a 6:55, which is the time I was told it would be ready. Apparently they had run out and it takes an hour to make, but no on told me this until I had been waiting for 45 minutes. The guy working the register, who was on a personal phone call for the first 15 minutes I was there, just kept telling me it was almost done. Finally the manager told me what the delay was, and she said the app can’t tell if they’re out of something. So, finally after over an hour waiting, I got my to-go order…and was about to be even more disappointed. I think the chicken must be sourced from under the nearest overpass, because it was the size of a pigeon. And my $3 side of greens was in a small container that was only half full. In short, this was a very disappointing experience
