I’ve come once before — a decade ago and again in 2026. It’s good, enjoyable. I prefer naked wings (with no batter) but still, I enjoyed my experience (it’s mostly takeout but with 2 picnic tables out front and a couple of barstools inside).
I tried the Thai chili, and solid. Note: I also prefer dry rub over wet wings, but it’s still a good flavor. Nice crunch with the batter. Btw they are smaller wings so a friend orders 20 wings for $20 (I prefer Wingstop, naked with no matter — but I’m biased). I also ordered the blue cheese burger, and it’s what I would expect of a burger. Good medium thick burger with steak fries. I actually ordered it medium rare, and it’s a good piece of meat. I wish I could have them sear it longer on top and bottom to give it a dark crunch, but it’s all good. Note: I’m not a fan of steak fries but they serve a reasonable steak fry (decent crunch on the outside). So for 6 wings, burger with fries for $14, and a coke, I spent $29.
Overall, I am satisfied and would come again if I lived in the area. A couple of college kids come here 2-4x a month bc one of them does not cook. That’s too often for me, but a few times a year is fine.

Bayou Hot Wings are the best in the city and easily among the best in the country. The breadth of flavor options is only matched by the quality of the individual flavors.
I typically use lemon pepper as a gauge for a wings place, and theirs are phenomenal – but where they really shine is with the HOT wings. It is in the name after all. Sauce 4 is my favorite wing sauce period, blending an excellent level of heat with a rich flavor that will leave you nibbling the cartilage on the wings. Bayou beast is true to its name, and not for the faint of heart, but for aficionados of searing pepper based pain, it will more than satisfy.
I can also strongly recommend the gator bites, the chicken ceasar wrap, and the frogs legs – just make sure to get some sauce on the side, otherwise you are missing out on the best part. The seasoned fries are also excellent. Big steak cut fries with a perfect level of salt.
The only caveat I will give, and this should be obvious, is that this type of food naturally does not travel well. I recommend either eating inside, outside at the two tables, or in your car in the lot to get the full experience. Is it fine dining? No. This is a perfect hole in the wall wing place that knows exactly what it is and what it is trying to do. Do not pass it up if you’re in the area!

This food was so nasty… I can’t believe I got this. I got the Honey BBQ wings it was terrible. I was hungry and I couldn’t even finish it. The fries wasn’t bad. It ain’t worth the money tho. Only thing good was the bottled drink.

So the wife and I were craving chicken tenders with buffalo sauce and blue cheese, plus some onion rings. After doing much internet sleuthing, we happened across this place. And HOLY MOLEY it absolutely came out way better than our expectations! First off the tenders were enormous! After eating 3 of 10 tenders I decided to weigh the box and it was well over a pound! Then come the onion rings! Perfectly spiced and breaded. I didn’t need sauce or anything. The fries were exactly what I was looking for today, again not shy about seasoning and still hot when they arrived. I also had the Caesar salad, potato salad and the fried shrimp but I haven’t gotten to them yet!

I finally gave this place a try today after scoping it out for a minute! I got a 10 piece wing with 2 sauces. I got the Garlic Butter Parmesan and the Bayou Hotboy…
First off, that GBP was pure heaven from the butter to the garlic to the fresh parmesan melted on top!! Those flavors came together beautifully!!!! The BH had a good flavor as well.
It was medium with just a small hint of spice. The ranch dipping sauce was good, too. I’ll definitely geaux back!!

The wings were great. I got the 15pc sweet honey heat wings. It wasn’t spicy at all and very flavorful. My friend got the honey garlic parmesan wings We also got a large order of garlic parmesan cheese french fries with added bacon. On a scale of 1-10 it would be a 7, and this is why I don’t get wet wings at all so this is why I rate it only a 7. I will definitely be going back to get a dry rub when I come back to visit.

This place was okay. I had my eyes set on them because they appear appetizing in the pictures. I ordered 10 piece honey wings. They were wet, which I really don’t eat, but okay. The wings are tiny. I also ordered 3 pieces of tenders with the hottest flavor. They were not hot as expected and the chicken didn’t taste seasoned. Just flavored with sauce.
FYI this is take out only. I expected to dine, but I didn’t see it advertised until I arrived.

This place has good prices, but the wings were soggy. The food was ready quick. So the wait wasn’t too long. The garlic fries were fried a little too hard. I would give this place another shot in hopes this was just a rare instance. You can mix and match the flavors which gives you a chance to try different options. They also serve burgers and wraps.

Love the food here. I always get the 5 piece chicken tenders. Its a lot of food. The sauces are excellent. I particularly enjoy the Korean BBQ.
The service is also great. They’re very quick.
I only wish they had more room to put out some tables so I didn’t have to eat outside.
