What a hidden gem. Almost don’t want to write the review so we can keep it hidden and for ourselves.
The food and service were excellent and the prices were amazing! It’s an old fashioned small town diner.
Highly recommend!

Stone House is a local favorite that is owned and operated by a local family. The service is what you would expect from a locally owned family restaurant. Happy servers and happy customers. The overall atmosphere is simple and plain. My go to for breakfast is biscuits and gravy, along with hash browns, bacon and fruit. Overall the food is typical and satisfying. Even though many local people like their desserts, I haven’t found the same satisfaction in their cookies, cakes or donuts. To me they are bland, somewhat dry and have odd flavors mixed in.

Had a lovely, massive breakfast this morning. Everything was delicious and the service was great. This is a gem in Delphi. Sadly we didn’t save room for treats to be enjoyed later!

The food here isn’t really great to be honest but the employees are really nice. Any time we have ever eaten here we’ve had to get it to go because the entire town is ALWAYS here and there’s no where to sit and it’s claustrophobic and crowded

as someone that’s always raved and recommended this restaurant after today I will never step foot in it again. as someone that travels from west lafayette just to eat here.
I asked for a specific waitress to wait on us as I’ve done before and was told this morning. No you can not ask for a specific waitress.
first off she’s not the owner and second we’re the customers paying the bills.. so you just took money from the waitress and the restaurant and wasn’t even talking to said person.
DIABOLICAL! UNPROFESSIONAL

Giant strawberry salad, fried Brussel sprouts coated with sweet balsamic vinegar and daily specials are good as lunches get and there are many more choices. Be sure to save room for desserts. The pies and cookies are amazing and made on site. The caramel pie is worth a trip on its own.

Definitely a treat, they catered to my soy allergy and the breads are all homemade and delicious!! Friends had omelettes that were huge and very good!! Would definitely stop again!!! ❤️

I’d like to give 15 stars: 5 for the tenderloin, 5 for the baked goods and 5 for the service. This was a huge tenderloin which could easily be split between two people. Even though it was big it was not pounded too thinly. There was still more pork than breading. The breaded tenderloin was nicely seasoned. The grilled tenderloin could have used some of the seasoning but was still good. We also got a few cookies, a brownie and some mini-cinnamon rolls. All of which were excellent. We’ll swing by earlier in the day as many of the baked goods were gone by 1pm when we swung by. We really appreciated the server wrapping our sandwiches in aluminum foil which we could clean and recycle rather than nearly obligatory styrofoam. The Stone House will be our go to restaurant when we are in the area.
