This place is a must for breakfast! We stopped on our way from Rhode Island to NJ and it was such a pleasant surprise. The food mega delicious! I had the veggie lover and my husband the meat lover with raising toast. Food was freshly made and tasteful. Atmosphere was great and even better service. Nikki our waitress was very friendly, quick and accommodating. Will definitely keep this as my go to spot when in the area.

I had veggie omelet, it was perfect, the cook did a great job. The homefries are fryolator cooked then finished on the grill. This makes ’em a bit crispy. It’s great, flavor was good, my favorite is the softer classic pure grill cooked but that’s MY thing. I’m older . Took a sausage breakfast sandwich to go, that was perfect as well!!
Entire place is redone. It looks clean and bright. Not to knock the previous owners, but the modern updating was NEEDED!!
I look forward to being a repeat customer of the delicious food and many more of those bright smiles!!

Sue is, hands down, the best waitress I’ve ever had. She’s friendly without being overbearing, remembers orders like a pro, and somehow manages to make every table feel like they’re her favorite. She checked in at all the right moments, kept everything moving smoothly, and did it all with a genuine smile that made the whole experience better.

I’ve been coming to this spot for breakfast for almost ten years. It’s changed hands several times during the decade…. and this time is the BEST! The food is so fresh, the service is friendly and efficient, and the ambiance is bright, clean, and upbeat. The new owner has made some smart updates, and continued some favorites… like Sue! She’s been serving here through three iterations of the restaurant. She always remembers my order (even though I change it very frequently…lol)! I’m always happy to see her because she’s genuinely happy to see me. She puts her whole heart into her work. It’s very clear that she cares about her customers, as do all the staff at The Breakfast Spot.

Have to give this place five stars. With the new owners it definitely brought a positive change with delicious portion size food. Not only is the food amazing but right down to the staff. The owner brings a warm welcoming atmosphere as she greets each table. Our favorite waitress SUE with her beautiful smile who we love to see on a Sunday. Her loyalty doesn’t go unnoticed as she been there through all the changes this place has encountered with owners. If you love a mom and Pop family oriented restaurant this is the place to go to!

The food came out piping hot, the server was friendly and kept the coffee refills flowing. I got a pepperoni and cheese omelet and it was the best omelet I’ve had in a long time! My husband got the meat lovers omelet and he said it was delicious. The home fries are perfect and not over seasoned or burnt. Someone nearby got a Belgium waffle and it looked amazing!

You can tell she poured her heart and soul into this restaurant. We decided it is our new Sunday morning weekly tradition and highly recommend it!

I loved eating at The Breakfast Spot. The restaurant was clean, the atmosphere was upbeat, the service was top notch and the food was perfect. The home fries were crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. The flavor was delicious. I also had a BLT and it was made to perfection I look forward to going back to have an omelet! My son had the waffles and he goes back at least once a week to have them again!!!

Best omelet and breakfast for all 4 of us! Omelet was stuffed and delicious . Carmel pancakes and berry crepes were delicious . Egg and sausage sandwich and home fries are perfect. Very accommodating at changes to the breakfast and our waitress was great we will definitely come again

Amazing value for money and perfect service. The new ownership has classic diner fare flying out of the kitchen and service is provided with a smile. Coffee refills are well timed and it’s very easy to have a relaxed conversation with your friends/family without disturbing other diners.
I had the veggie omelette and my husband had the Irish Benny. We’ll both be back to try other menu items and 10/10 recommend for a regular breakfast spot.
