Irie Jamaican Restaurant did NOT disappoint! the food was amazing, full of flavor and cooked to perfection. I had the curry goat, rice & peas, cabbage, and a beef patty, and every single bite was . The curry goat was tender and seasoned just right, the rice and peas was spot on, and the cabbage was perfectly cooked. washed it all down with a Ting (my favorite drink), which made it even better.authentic flavors, great portions, and just overall nice yf

Just had an amazing meal at this Jamaican spot! The curry chicken came with cabbage slaw, beans and rice, and fried plantains so a complete, satisfying plate that could easily feed three people. The chicken was bursting with rich, authentic flavors, so tender and perfectly spiced, just like homemade. The cabbage slaw was fresh and crisp, offering a nice, tangy crunch that balanced the dish beautifully. And those fried plantains? Pure golden sweetness with the perfect caramelized edge. With portions this generous and prices this outstanding, it’s hands down one of the best deals for fresh, delicious Jamaican food. Definitely a must-try! I got a beef pasty on the way out to try and OHHHHHHHH PLEASE try those. Spicy deliciousness I work close by so will be back for sure! Yum!

I had a great meal here. The ambiance was perfect; clean store, wonderful food service, and the music was nice. I got exactly what I was looking for! All positive vibes and plenty of drink options. They also have a cute store you can browse through for Jamaican snacks. Will be returning for the oxtail. My favorite part was watching the cook help out the lovely lady when it got busy. That’s real teamwork! Peace and love from Mexico.

This little spot in Fort Myers is great. Food was on point. They have a sign posted a d it reads. We are not a fast food restaurant food is cooked first to order so please be patient. I love that. So come in get some great food and enjoy the place

Alright IRIE, let’s talk about it. I paid $17.99 for a medium plate of oxtails, and I have to say, I’ve never in my life had oxtails that literally went deep driving into A BAG OF SUGAR. The cabbage was overcooked, the rice came straight out of the cooker with zero flavor, and the plate didn’t even come with plantains. Overall, the food was just not it, BIG DISAPPOINTMENT. SO NASTY.

Hands down my first time there today and my husband and I loved it! The ox tail was incredible! We also added plantains to our meal and they were so perfect. The service was friendly and refreshing compared to other Jamaican spots. The rum cake was so moist and oh so good!! Definitely recommend this place band we will definitely be back.

If you’re craving Jamaican/Caribbean food, this is hands down the spot! Friendly service, and fantastic authentic homemade food. As an avid international traveller and foodie, this place is the real deal. I ordered curried goat, jerk chicken, a couple patties, and a coconut water…total was $50. Portions were huge though, easily two meals from each entree. Prices are not current from what’s listed on here so please keep that in mind. The large portion of curried goat (my favorite) was $19, but could easily feed two people. The people commenting on prices need to understand the cost of everything has gone up lately, plus the overhead of a small business from hardworking cooks and staff and a storefront. Everything is made from scratch here and done well at that. Did I find good value in the price/meal? Absolutely. Will I be back? Absolutely. For the non-traveling folks, don’t be put off by the location off Fowler, or you’ll miss out on a great meal. Absolutely delicious, thank you.

They are literally so nice. I went in here for my second time the first time I ordered through DoorDash and the food was good. I had ordered like rice and peas. I can’t too much remember but this time I ordered jerk chicken pasta mind you I’m from New York and it’s very hard to find good Jamaican food in Fort Myers, but this place really outdid themselves with this jerk chicken pasta. It was so good thank you to the staff. It was quick and the food was amazing packed with flavor 10/10 I will come back !!!

The food was good, but the wait is long. Don’t try to get in and out on a lunch hour unless you have an hour and fifteen minutes to eat comfortably. Food is cooked fresh. It’s also a little expensive for a lunch, plus a 5% fee for “service” on every bill.
