When it comes to being a tourist of Port Washington, no one will argue that downtown is the place to be. However, when you start to feel homesick, head on over to Grand Avenue Saloon. The staff is always happy to have you in and show off the inflation fighting special, lol. As a local, I love it! As a tourist, I’d call it Port Washington’s best kept secret!

Great place.
Edit: I want to expand on my review a bit because during my tenure in Port Washington, Grand Avenue Saloon was among my most frequented spots, and for good reason.
Biggest reason: the prices. This bar offers great prices on food and drinks. It’s probably the most affordable place to go in town.
The staff have been very friendly over the years. I’ll miss coming here, because I really did enjoy my visits here.

Had a screeching great time. Laughed so hard I had a stabbing pain in my stomach. This place is just a Diamond in the rough. What else could you ask for in a bayside bar?
