The Honest Abe was AMAZING! I had it medium well with mushrooms added. The fried green tomatoes were great and crispy. My partner had the Wyoming omelette and said it was pretty decent too. The atmosphere was so cute and they were very friendly! Definitely going to return!

Breakfast was horrible. My scrambled eggs were scorched brown and dry. Grits were warm at best & barely melted softened butter. Toast was unbuttered and cold. The bacon was perfect though. My husband’s omelette was scorched and very thin and cold. The biscuit and sliced tomato were both good. Our server offered to have my eggs redone but I’m not going to bother when it means the cook had to make two new meals because everything was that bad. The sad part is there was only one couple there but they already had food when we came in. So they weren’t rushed or overwhelmed with our one order. Yeah it’s a One and done.

Food came out fast and was good. Man’s bathroom was the dirtiest I’ve encountered in a long time. One can only hope kitchen is not the same!! Half way through our meal one of the servers stopped at counter and blowed her nose and went back to serving without washing her hands. Kinda a stomach turner! Oh well, will try again later since we are local.

Such a sweet little spot! Our waitress was incredibly friendly and helpful, which always makes the experience even better. We ordered classic diner favorites; pancakes, grilled cheese sandwiches, vegetable soup… and finished things off with a variety of desserts. The prices were very fair, and the whole place has a super cute, cozy vibe.

All I had was a waffle, but it was a perfect one. The service was good, our server was very busy, but she was friendly and nice. The place has some wear and tear, which seems perfectly fine for a diner that’s been around for awhile. We visited on a Saturday evening, and got seated immediately. This is a nice alternative to the packed restaurants you usually see in this area.

On the way to the table I seen someone with a Reuben Sandwich and I knew what I was having!
You pretty much know what it’s going to be in an establishment like this. My sandwich was nice and fresh! Toasted nicely with butter on the bread. I meat was a little tougher than usual but tasted great. It was served with crinkle cut fries and a pickle.
My wife had fried pickles. They were spears. Served with house made ranch. Our daughter went with the trusted chicken strips and fries….as usual.
We enjoyed our meal and the ambiance of the diner.

A great looking stainless steel exterior and a 1950’s feel inside with an All-American menu. I had the BBQ-Brougham Burger with fries and a diet Pepsi. The burger was large and had good flavor, the fries were standard (pictured). The wife had the tuna fish on texas toast and stated it was good and again the portion size was large. The restaurant was clean, and the service was friendly and nice. Negative – was some litter in the parking lot, but The Diner can’t be held accountable for people’s actions.

Shannon is awesome! She hooked up my banana split and even made a few changes to it that i asked for. Very friendly and service was quick. I got the Honest Abe burger (elk/buffalo/bison) and it turned out amazing!! Definitely will return!!!

Cute theme but really dirty! Tables were barely wiped down and if you looked closer it got worse and worse, booths were disgusting the floors had never seen a mop, the gas station bathrooms were cleaner. The ceiling vent was dripping right on to your shoulder while you ate. They were out of chicken tenders which of course all our kids wanted and we asked for chocolate milk that came out white. Food was on the same level as McDonald’s at best.
