La Trattoria Oceanside graciously hosted a group of approximately 50 guests for the Wounded Warrior Project Soldier Ride from Miami to Key West. We enjoyed a prix fixe meal, and everything was exceptionally well done.
I had the shrimp, which was fantastic, and I was told the ribs and chicken were excellent as well. The appetizers including beef and chicken empanadas, a fresh garden salad, and bruschetta were delicious, and the presentation was exquisite.
The entire staff waiters, waitresses, and bussers were highly attentive and professional throughout the event. And the view should not be overlooked: dining with a direct view of the Atlantic Ocean made the experience even more special.
Thank you to the staff and owners for their generosity, professionalism, and continued support of such a meaningful cause. I highly recommend this restaurant for both small and large groups. You will truly be well cared for.

We had a great experience from beginning to end. The hostess sat us quickly and was very friendly. Our waiter was very personable and refilled our drinks before we’d even realized they were low. The food was absolutely delicious and the view was beautiful. Their homemade tiramisu is a must try!

Katherine was an absolutely delightful waitress! I could tell she genuinely enjoys what she does. She made my birthday dinner a wonderful experience! She’s incredibly attentive and her service was above and beyond. She exudes warmth and positivity and I couldn’t have asked for better. The food was excellent and the ambiance was quiet and cozy. As someone who works with the public daily, I commend her for keeping up her bubbly attitude for our late evening dinner reservation. 10/10 recommend.

Yesterday we celebrated our wedding with our seven children and immediate family—29 people total. Pip at La Trattoria Oceanside was amazing to work with. Since we flew in from Phoenix, all arrangements were handled via email and a few phone conversations, and everything came together beautifully.
Because this was a second wedding for both of us, we wanted it to feel more like an intimate family dinner on vacation rather than a formal reception—and Pip absolutely delivered. She made thoughtful suggestions, including pre-ordering appetizers so guests could relax, enjoy conversation, and take their time deciding on entrées and drinks.

I don’t usually like to leave negative reviews, but I was disappointed with my experience. I received a burned chicken with my pasta, and when I asked for it to be replaced, the same plate was returned to me without any change. When I was asked how my chicken was, I felt like they were trying to make a fool of me. That felt unprofessional and disrespectful, especially for a fine dining restaurant. I understand it may have been a busy time, but that’s not an excuse for serving food that isn’t prepared properly. I hope you can pay more attention to quality and customer service in the future.

Service here was very good. This ended up being the first restaurant me and my lady went after we touched down in Key West. We barely made it in before it closed for the night, but they still took us in and gave us exceptional service. Didn’t rush us either. The place has big windows so you can have a nice view of the ocean while you eat, though we ate there at night so we didn’t get to enjoy that part Still had a good experience there, though, in spite of missing out on the view.
