By far the coolest bakery I’ve ever been too. My father in law took my wife, kids and I today. The kids went crazy seeing the bread made and getting the warm bread right off the machines was awesome. Great bacon egg and cheese bagel as well. Best experience!

The best blueberry bagels EVER. When they are in the toaster you can smell the blueberries and the flavor doesn’t disappoint. It would take weeks of daily visits to try all the baked goods available. Even so, the quality is very good. Our favorites besides the blueberry bagels include: rum cake, black&whites (brown & orange during the fall months) Napoleon, rye bread and a fudge covered marble bundt cake with Christmas tree sprinkles that we brought as a dessert to a dinner and everyone raved about it. On Christmas Eve it was insanely busy, but they have a system that gets you in and out quickly thanks to all the friendly, hard working employees. I only wish we were told the rum cake might release some liquid and advise us to transfer it out of the box. Even the bowl like tray the cake is on was not enough to keep the rum syrup from spilling into the box and soaking through to the plastic bag creating a sticky mess.

First time visiting, and I can say the selection of items are plentiful. I got a few different items to try, including, rainbow cookies (solid), brownie (disappointing, not chocolatey at all, and cake like), lintzer tart (the cookie itself was delicious, but wasn’t a fan of the jam used nor the jam to cookie ratio), and bagels (not a regular NY style bagel, no outer crust, very soft, it was decent overall, but not what I think of when getting a bagel). Everything was fresh. In the back where you pick out your bread/bagels products it was coming out right from the oven. The staff in the back however, weren’t very friendly or helpful. The staff in the front were thw complete opposite. They moved the at a brisk pace, and were on the friendlier side.

I have always been very satisfied with Rockland Bakery and have recommended this bakery to friends and family. I recently placed an order for a birthday cake that was to have three layers of cake. To my disappointment it was mostly buttercream filling. I forwarded pictures with my receipt to the customer service website and waited several days before I received a response for my request for a refund or store credit. Despite the fact I sent photos, the owner would only honor my request if I brought in the cake which after days of waiting for a response was already discarded. It is unfortunate how this issue was handled and will give my business where there is respect and appreciation for their customers.

If you’re in the area definitely stop by and get your dose of bake goods. They also have a wide selection of pastries and a deli location serving sandwiches, hot and cold. The portions are also huge from the looks of it. I will surely be back!!

Sandwich was ok. I didn’t realize you can pick your own bread to have a sandwich made. The roll they provide is tasteless. They use Boars head so it was good. Needed more mayo, they skimped on it. Ordered chocolate cake mousse and it was delicious! Great prices too! Bakery could use a remodel but the prices are nice though.

What a hidden gem of a place!! Must visit if you like bread.. you will leave with a bag full of freshly baked exquisite loafs. The prices are amazing and its really a wholesome experience. The service is also good and Mr. Robert at the Deli stood out by being especially cheerful and helpful. the Deli serves generous meat portions. There werent any sweet cream cheese options today but the savory ones were really good
