My husband got teriyaki from here recently, and I had a couple bites.. It was delicious, so I had to try it today! Sarah, the front counter representative, went above and beyond with her sweet personality and stellar customer service skills! As well as all the other workers there; great customer service. The restaurant was also very clean, and charming. Will definitely be stopping in again with my friends!

If I could give this place a million stars, I would. I moved back home from NYC in 2020 and have been craving a quick, solid sushi and ramen spot ever since and this is it!
I met one of the owners last night. He was incredibly kind and told me they slow boil the ramen broth for eight hours. You can tell he genuinely cares about what he’s doing, and that passion shows in the food!
If you’re in Cuyahoga Falls and want great ramen, sushi, or Boba this is your spot!!!

Stopped into Maki House in Cuyahoga Falls today and ordered some rolls and dumplings. The space is spotless and modern. It felt like it was a Japanese Chipotle. It has an open kitchen where you can watch the food being prepared. The menu is a nice size, offering sushi rolls, specialty rolls, ramen, teriyaki bowls, boba teas and a selection of appetizers.
I tried a spicy roll and a tempura shrimp roll, while my friend ordered the gyoza dumplings. Everything was fresh and full of flavor. The staff was friendly, and I was greeted by Jason, the owner, a nice personal touch.
This location is fairly new, right on Portage Trail in Cuyahoga Falls. Great food, clean atmosphere, and a team that clearly cares.

Absolutely fantastic! The broth was amazing. It’s so flavorful even though I just got the veggie ramen my other half got the spicy beef ramen with a big huge beef bone in it and it looked amazing. It was actually really tasteful. It wasn’t as spicy as they claimed it to be but it was still really flavorful. They were really really nice to my daughter that got a boba tea that their boba teas are amazing. I would definitely recommend this place, tad bit expensive but it’s definitely worth it!

First time trying the Ramen here, and it was better than I expected. I got the Spicy Beef ramen, wasn’t really spicy, just a kick from the hot oil. Noodles were cooked nicely and longer than most ramen noodles I have ever had.
Broth flavor was delicious, only downside is the beef rib lacked flavor, just tasted like it had a hint of salt to it.
The Brisket on the other hand had good flavor, that was also added onto from the broth.
I will try again, I would recommend adding bamboo shoot, bok choy, and a warm slice of tomato to soak in with that Broth. I know the tomato may sound different from some, but if you ever had “Beef Tomato Ramen” then you know what I know !

FRESH, amazing flavor… oh yea, FRESH!!! I was blown away with how great the spicy beef ramen was. The sushi was perfection. The seaweed salad and the spicy crab salad were phenomenal. We washed it all down with a couple refreshing boba teas. My only complaint is that it’s not on the same block as my house. This is my new spot anytime I’m in Cuyahoga Falls.

The food was excellent. The Eggrolls, California Rolls and Chicken and Beef Teriyaki were the best of the items we ordered. Ordering extra meat on the Teriyaki Rice bowls was a great deal and soba noodles were excellent!

My wife wanted noodles after the Akron Comic Con. Lo and behold we came across this establishment. She ordered the noodles that she was longing for and asked if I wanted some food too. Initially I said no at first because I wasn’t interested. But one of the owners convinced me to try the beef and shrimp teriyaki. Honestly, it was a great suggestion. I had that with the gyoca (pot stickers) and it was quite delicious! I also had the “dirty milk tea” which wasn’t bad, but I wanted to try something else (I thought that the dirty milk tea had milk in it and I’m lactose intolerant (it doesn’t actually contain milk)), so I ended up ordering the Cotton candy boba tea. Everything was fantastic! From the food to the atmosphere and down to the customer service! We got to speak with the owner Leah who was friendly and extremely helpful.

Came for the ramen and left thoroughly disappointed.
We ordered two classics — the chicken rich ramen and the spicy beef ramen — and both had almost no flavor. The bowls looked nothing like the photos, and the eggs were completely overcooked. With so many great ramen options in Cleveland that actually deliver the deep umami you expect, this place just isn’t worth the time or money.
Even the edamame was a miss.
Our appetizer was so overcooked and mushy that it was barely edible — something we’ve never experienced with edamame until today.
And unfortunately, the service didn’t make up for it.
The staff spent the entire time chatting behind the counter, never checked in, and didn’t acknowledge us at all when we left.
Overall: save yourself the disappointment — Cleveland has far better ramen spots.

My family and I Absolutely love Maki house , the food is fresh and absolutely delicious the flavors are amazing and the meat is tender and melts in the mouth. The drinks are delicious as well mine and my husband’s favorite is the afternoon lemon tea . The staff and owners are some of the sweetest people I’ve had the pleasure of meeting they are friendly and adore my 1 year old daughter and love making her smile . You might wait a small amount of time for your food but it is worth the few minutes to wait as I’ve said the food is made 100 percent fresh as it’s ordered and to me and my family that’s important! We have chosen to make Maki house a regular staple in our house. I feel the pricing is very reasonable especially for the portion sizes one bowl of the ramen lasts me 3 meals, the sushi is fresh and flavorful as are the teriyaki bowls .We are so glad to have found the Maki house and look forward to many more meals enjoyed there .
