This is hands down the best grilled pork chop and broken rice I’ve tried outside of Vietnam. The rice is fragrant, and perfectly pairs with the sweet, savoury and herbal taste of the pork chops. The fried egg was perfectly cooked, and the meat patty was tender. I feel like they make their own pickles too!

The portions are generous, and the service was quick and friendly. The aunties working the cart are so friendly, they made my day

Finally a great broken rice place in Portland. The #1 special has everything that makes this dish m all-time favorite, from the crispy fried lard to the flavorful charbroiled pork chop. Not your typical “broken rice” menu item at restaurants, this is the real deal! My to-go order took less than 5 minutes and was still great reheated.

Sooooo good!
This is hands down one of the best broken rice dish I’ve ever had, especially given the price.
My friend recommended this spot, and I was blown away by the rich flavours and generous portions. The owner was incredibly gracious, offering us free water and samples of her new dish. Highly recommend!

Absolutely amazing food, drinks, atmosphere, and service. The ladies who work here are some of the nicest, most talented, and caring owners of their craft. If you’re in the pod, try their plates and a kumquat iced tea, and you won’t regret it. (Chicken is from Doyaji, also amazing!!!)

We’ve tried to eat her on three separate occasions and they’re always closed. The Core owner had told us the last time that he was surprised she was closed. We checked their hours and even sent them a message. We never get messages back. The food looks so bomb but what’s the secret to finding them when they’re open??

Light repast of Lychee Iced tea and their street corn. So worth it! The corn is amazing! I could eat this all the time. The ice tea is absolutely divine, great flavor without being so sweet my teeth hurt.

Heard of this place thru friends and referral but did not get a chance to try their food until today. I’m very happy, impressed, and satisfied with the Special Sausage Egg Combo dish and Peach Tea drink this evening. Really love the generous portion in the box, the meat is so tender and so flavorful and the side veggie, pickle is so fresh. This dish is very common and can be found at any Vietnamese restaurant, but this place is definitely a step above. Recommended!

Food is amazing but we ordered two broken rice plates and they left out the shredded pork skin and egg/shredded skin patty that is so common in broken rice plates and something I know they serve with their dish. I legit think they omitted these two things because we were white people and it generally doesn’t suit American palates. Which is understandable but definitely made me feel sad not getting these two quintessential items that make broken rice plate so great.
