This is a man’s man bbq place. No frills, just get in, get a plate of meat and have some food. We tried the brisket, chicken, ribs and sausage. It’s all good meat without a lot of spices. It is tender though. The sides? Pinto beans, green beans, coleslaw and potato salad with sandwich white or wheat bread on the side. A can of cold soda for a drink. So, if you are looking for more than this, you’ll have to go somewhere else.

The ribs exterior was overcooked. And the brisket was so-so.
If it was closer to $10 the quality to cost might bump it up another star but for $25 I was not impressed. I had high hopes, this was mostly, meh.

We were looking for some barbecue while visiting the area and knew we made the right choice when we came for lunch and the parking lot was full. There were lots of locals enjoying themselves and we did as well. Our group had brisket and smoked turkey and all was excellent! I had banana pudding as well and loved it. The staff was very helpful and friendly and the man who cut the brisket and cashed us out said the business has been owned by the same family for many years. Excellent food!

I don’t usually share reviews but I had such a great experience here! EVERYONE was so kind! Especially Jasmin and I believe his name was Ronald. I had the brisket and the ribs, beans, and banana pudding. The brisket was my favorite especially because I got the fatty piece! When I got to work, everyone was asking me for a plate lol . I’ll be sure to come back with my family.

Had a great experience at The Bar B Q Man Restaurant! The prices were reasonable and the bbq was good quality. We had brisket, jalapeno sausage, and chicken with pinto beans, potato salad and coleslaw. The bbq sauce was good and complimented the bbq. The sweet tea was very good and I think I had at least three cups! The staff was very kind and accommodating. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in Corpus Christi!

I got a few pieces of dry meat on my previous visit, and they immediately reached out to have it replaced. It’s so tender and their potato salad is delicious. all of the places in Texas, and I think I found “our spot.” They cut it right in front of you, so you know what you’re getting while ordering it.

We were greeting with a warm welcome as soon as we arrived. My mom and I ordered brisket and ribs plate with potato and beans sides to go(as pictured- she got to her food before I could take a photo haha). We got the hoemmade sweet tea and LORD IS IT DELICIOUS. The meat was smoky and juicy. The sauce made it even better . Enjoyed EVERY SINGLE BITE. 10/10 would recommend
