A very odd interaction with the man at the counter when ordering: I put in my order and noticed a sign they have indicating that they no longer have pennies and that they either round up or round down.
Not a problem for me either way, I really don’t care about pennies, but I mentioned that some customers might have a problem with the idea of rounding up from whatever their total is, to which this guy VERY angrily responded, “if you don’t like it, go somewhere else.”
So I did.
This might’ve been a blessing in disguise since the food place just down the hall on the same floor (next to the Coffee Bean) is better, cheaper, and friendlier by far.

Good chicken cesar wrap and fair hot pastrami. Loved the potato salad (extra eggy) and the chicken rice soup really tasty. Wish they hadn’t run out of the butternut squash soup.

Gross. The Judi’s in Beverly Hills was great, the one at Cedars-awful. Their matzo ball soup is beyond salty, the matzo balls r a weird consistency, and the noodles are too big-worst matzo ball soup ever. I also tried their tuna wrap-equally as bad. Very little tuna, the tortilla was hard, bland, and the potato salad had a weird taste to it. Waste of money. Even the cashier was unfriendly. Never going back.

Judi’s was my place of choice when I wanted to buy food (which is not often, since I bring home cooked food). However, for the last 3 times I have experienced a huge decline in the quality of the food and freshness. Twice the lentil soup tasted that was few days old. I do not know if they chenged the seasoning, but it tasted that was over heated and sour. Today I took my chances and I tried going there once more and asked for my favorite plate: cooked vegetable rice platter. The vegetables were ice cold (not only cold, but iced cold, suggesting that they were removed from the refrigerator and placed in the box). it is really disappointing. Their prices are quite higher than other places around the hospital, but the quality of the food has pushed away many guests. before it was always full. now we see a lot of empty tables. the reason is the quality and freshness of the food.

I go to Judi’s Deli often. The most scrumptious smelling foods ever! The chicken salad is delicious. It comes on the biggest bed of mixed greens with purple cabbage, carrots, olives and tomatoes. Their menu for such a small place is huge.

The food is good but my complaint is the staff that are taking orders. They are always in an unpleasant mood! Occasionally, they choose not to have food orders available at a certain time. But all together, they need to get retrained in customer service because they do NOT have any.
