What a gem we have found! Theres free parking across the street. The price is very reasonable for the amount of food you get. The loco moco was the best loco moco i ever had, very moiste and smokey. The kalbi was very good seasoned. The korean fried chicken has really good flavor but a little bit dry. The salmon katsu was not bad but not impressive. Service was a little slow due to she was the only waiter but she was very friendly attentive. Overall i would 100% come back and recommend this place to others

I can’t comment on the atmosphere as our food was delivered through GrubHub. I have not had worse Hawaiian food. Missed an entree so we had to split the rest of the food. Had to throw the Ahi out because it did not taste right, tasted old. None of the food was warm. I unfortunately was really excited as this was my first time eating from Kama’aina.

I went there for lunch with my sister and my toddler the other day and it was amazing. It wasn’t busy, the staff were very nice and the food exceeded all expectations as always. They even had a booster seat so my son could sit on the bench next to me. They also supply highchairs but my son has never liked them so the booster was really nice to have.

A nice quiet place with a calm laid back atmosphere, the reggae adds to it all. The food is fantastic and the service is great. They do a great job making you feel welcomed and fed. I would definitely recommend this spot if you’re looking for some great Hawaiian food.

The food reminded me of when I was at Hawaii. It was so good. The pork was amazing, and their mac salad is the only one I like. The coconut shrimp has great flavor and was the perfect level of crispness. Will definitely be back to try more of the menu.

This place was SO delicious. I got the dynamite chicken or something like that- ridiculously tasty. Husband got the loco moco and was instantly like “we need to go back to Hawaii ” everything was so lovingly prepared, the shave ice was no less than seven miles tall and we couldn’t even finish it. Their lilikoi cheesecake is what dreams are made of. It’s a bit small but good things come in small packages (or something).
Def coming back and telling everyone about this place

Fantastic Hawaiian food and great service. The chicken katsu was perfect. The macaroni salad had a good amount of flavor, and I love that they have an option for half rice/half salad. Highly recommended.

This place has great food and the portion for the price is the kind of great value that will keep us coming back.

Korean fried chicken and Kalua Pig are great.

This mainly undiscovered gem in downtown Forest Grove is serving up some excellent Hawaiian comfort food. We had ahi poke, salmon poke, luau pork, spam musubi all were delicious. They have an extensive menu and daily specials, which I am looking forward to trying. The service was well, “Hawaiian time.”
