We were traveling through and never thought we’d find Korean food! We assumed it was sushi but found a full menu of Korean food in apron too a sushi bar. It was the old-fashioned type of cooking I grew up with. The flavors were good and we got a lot of banchan! We’d stop there if we ever come through this way!

This is literally the best Korean/japanese spot in Nashville. The fact that they’ve been here for 23 years and just now finding out about them I’m bewildered. Service 12/10 food 12/01

I love Midori and came here a lot many years ago when I lived in the area. Recently had a girl’s night out here to celebrate a birthday and we ordered a bunch of sushi. Highly recommend their salad with ginger dressing. I don’t remember all the rolls we got, I know we had dynamite roll, and lion king roll. Not sure about the rest. Everyone enjoyed it, everything was fresh, and I’m picky about my Wasabi theirs is really good!!

Very authentic Korean food. I just returned from a month in Seoul, this was exactly like the restaurants there. Great main and side items. They also can make everything to go. Highly suggest you try it if you like Korean food.

Decided to take my daughter to Midori. I had been there before but my daughter hadn’t. So my daughter got the crunchy crab roll and the Gyoza. I got the fried scalloped tempura and the Japchae. I love scallops so it was very delicous. The Japchae was a huge portion to match the price and very flavorful. My daughter and I shared the Japchae and still took the rest in the to go box. I also got my husband the spicy pork soup to go since he wasn’t able to go with us. He loved it. He said it was new to him but very delicous. The service was very nice as the last time I remember going. My daughter loved the crab roll, so we ordered another one. Over all I want to say the prices are very good here for the food you get. I expected to pay more but we ended paying way less than expected. Which was amazing. The food was so delicious, I definitely recommend. My daughter doesn’t like vegetables but the Japchae was easy to pick the noodles out. However I loved the vegetables in it. The side dishes were all amazing too. They added a bunch of different textures and flavors to your dish.

Best Korean restaurant in Nashville! They don’t cut corners in flavor, you can taste the time, effort, and love that goes into each dish. I eat here at least once a week and bring everyone I can. The place is small, but not cramped. The staff is kind, efficient and clean. The price may seem a bit on the high side but the food portions are big and the quality is well worth it.

I’ve drove by many times by and i never see it open, up until now. Perhaps I’ve been in many places here in Nashville to express my humble opinion but I must say, this is the best and authentic Japanese place I’ve eaten! May not look fancy and/or out of date but I can assure that the food isn’t! Stop by, you would like it I’m sure of it.
When we got there, we saw a few tables with empty plates, this speaks louder that words honestly lol

Grabbed some takeout while passing through the area. Food was delicious, including the banchan. Galbi was the best tasting I’ve had from a restaurant, the meat very tender.

It’s a pretty good Asian restaurant that used to be even better. We have never been fans of the sushi bar as far as the flavor goes but the beef bulgogi cooked in the kitchen has always been good. Now they charge like most Korean restaurants for the romaine lettuce. Seems like it getting more expensive for what you get when you factor in beer etc.
