The Old Fashioned was one of the best I’ve had—smooth, balanced, and strong. I tried the meatballs, which were packed with flavor, and the cauliflower, which had a great taste but the texture reminded me more of steamed vegetables. The wings were also a highlight—the meat was literally falling off the bone.
The rooftop is beautiful with a nice view of Pinecrest—perfect for relaxing and enjoying the atmosphere. Plus, they have a $10 happy hour menu that offers great value for the quality.
Overall, solid food, great drinks, and excellent service.

My steak is always seasoned and cooked to perfection. I always ask for steak sauce but never use it. It’s not needed here. This was my 1st time getting garlic butter topping. It was good. Again, not needed, but wasn’t mad at having it. The side items here are probably the truest, most shareable in size compared to other steakhouses like this (except for The Strip). The bread is magnificent. Everything is! The service was spectacular as always. I just love this place.
5/10/2025 – Came here for an early Mother’s Day dinner. It was great. As usual I have absolutely no complaints. From the moment I walked in, to the moment I walked out. Everything was absolutely great. The food is always on 10. The service didn’t disappoint either. Atmosphere was great. It was busy but not overwhelming. It didn’t interfere with the timeliness of our service at all.
August 2024 – We were here to celebrate my husband’s promotion. Everything and everyone at Red’s is amazing. It never disappoints.
Our steaks were prepared and seasoned perfectly The side items could easily feed 3-4 people. The bread and that parmesan/oil mix concoction is I ate so much bread I actually didn’t eat half my food. It was soft, fresh, just out of the oven, and mixed with the blend, it was heaven sent. My taste buds were in a land of pure bliss. I had a filet mignon. My husband had a ribeye. Both regular C.A.B. not the prime. They were great. Our side items were cream of corn (not on the menu), Mac-n-cheese, and truffle mashed potatoes All delicious. All are making me feel good. The cream of corn was good, but I’ve definitely had better. It has a breaded topping. It was a little too soupy for me, but it was still not bad. It just wasn’t so good that I would feel compelled to order again. The mac-n-cheese was 5 stars Not 1 negative thing to say. The truffle potatoes, same, 5 stars They honestly have the best potatoes in the steakhouse game.
My husband had a cocktail called strawberry mash. We are not big on alcohol but we were celebrating, so why not! Well, it was strong! Must’ve been the gin because they didn’t hold back. The bartender did not disappoint!
Lastly, they comped us an order of fried powdered donuts with a trio of sauces (chocolate, caramel, and rasberry). We were already so stuffed we weren’t sure we’d be able to squeeze out of our booth. These sent us over the edge. They were great!
June 2024 – RED is quickly becoming my favorite steakhouse locally. I have never had a bad experience here. My reservations are always easy, I’m seated immediately, the service is amazing and the food is great!
Our waitress was so very attentive, knowledgeable of the menu and the day’s specials, and customer oriented. I don’t think we ever asked for anything because it appeared before we realized it was needed. She was great.
They have a house made steak sauce, but you don’t need it. I’m not sure what’s all in their steak seasoning, but you don’t need sauce at all. It’s seasoned to perfection, so you’ll have no problems without sauce! I had the CAB filet 8 oz and my husband had the CAB Prime Ribeye 12 oz.
The green beans have a lot going on in them. I’m still not sure all they threw in the pot, but it worked! They, too, are seasoned perfectly. I can’t believe I had a few scraps to take home because I wanted to eat all of them. Last but not least, the truffle mash potatoes are my favorite potatoes. None of these side items beat the steak, BUT these are very close 2nds.
Oh the warm bread they bring with that parmesan olive oil mix is the bomb
To finish up this review, I went to RED in Pinecrest but I’m willing to bet you buying me dinner that any RED location is going to leave you with a big corny smile along with your pants unbuttoned to make room for more food! Ok, stop drooling and make reservations.
Despite noting the birthday in the reservation, reminding the host, and the server acknowledging it, the service quickly fell apart.
When I asked for help with the wine list, the manager approached saying, “I am in the middle of something right now and I can help you if this isn’t too long.” Not exactly the tone you expect at a high-end steakhouse viewing bottles over a $100 each.
The hamachi crudo tasted far from fresh and lacked any balance or acidity. Our entrées—two medium-rare filets, chicken parm, and sides—took far too long to arrive, to the point that staff repeatedly reassured us the food was “coming out shortly,” even though we hadn’t asked. When the steaks finally arrived, both were medium-well instead of medium-rare. They had to be remade, leaving the sides cold. The corrected steaks were the right temperature but lacked Red’s signature sear, seasoning, and care. By the time they arrived, my daughter was already done eating.
Dessert was another letdown. We ordered the bread pudding, which was gummy and tasteless, to accompany Red’s typical complimentary birthday donuts, but they never appeared. When I asked, both the server and manager confirmed they still offer them. The server even claimed he “didn’t know it was her…” until I reminded him he had wished her a happy birthday at the start of the meal.
We’ve celebrated birthdays and special events at Red for years, but after this experience, we’ll be choosing other restaurants moving forward. Very disappointed.
