This is my 3rd visit with my family. We had a thali, and it was excellent. Everything tasted fresh and full of flavor. The dishes were well-cooked, nicely balanced, and really satisfying. Overall, it was a great meal and definitely worth going back with other family members.
Staff are always attentive, friendly and personable.
I will always go back.
Prices are reasonable.

Great atmosphere. Good food. We tried the thali which was quite impressive when it comes to quantity. The thali is unlimited to you can have seconds. But the food was a bit heavy so you really could not have too much. Will recommend.

My finance and I had such a lovely time! We went around 6ish on a Saturday with a reservation, it didn’t seem busy until the clock hit 7 and people rolled in. But somehow, the staff were still so attentive and friendly. Virginia was so kind throughout, she gave us recommendations on must try items. One of my fav which she recommended was the prawn curry! Highly recommend. My partner also loved the chilli beef and the dosa.

We had an amazing experience. It’s been a long time since I have eaten from the region of the dishes on offer, we were assisted in the best way to choose dishes that go well together as well as the amount of food to order for the four of us (without assistance we would have ordered way too much)!
Every dish was exquisite! Pork filled Dosa, chilli beef, the sea bass!
We will be returning in order to try more of the dishes on offer.
Clear head is probably the best non alcoholic IPA you can get, and they have it (in cans) here. Would love to see it on draught.
Can’t recommend Kal Dosa enough.

My husband and I visited Kal Dosa for the first time yesterday (Sat 10th Jan). We went at 6pm and it was quiet when we got there, however within the hour it was much busier, creating a lovely atmosphere. Service was great, we were welcomed by friendly staff. Service was casual but attentive throughout the meal. We had 2 Dosa to share, 4 small plates and some paratha. Perfect amount for 2 people. Food had lots of flavour and a good amount of spice. Thank you for a lovely meal, we will be back.

A lovely experience for South Indian food. Delicious Dosa, chicken dishes, and fish curry. Their unique rice flake dessert was very tasty and chai top notch! Would recommend for a nice dinner and drinks, whether it be cocktails or lassi. Very friendly staff and rapid service even on a Friday evening 🙂

We came for an impromptu meal last Wednesday night, early around 545pm. We were shown to a table near the rear of the colourful and tastefully decorated restaurant by a friendly waiter. We selected starters and a main and were blown away by the taste and quality of the chicken. I had the Andhra dal and the Tawa chicken, my partner had the Chicken Dosa. Washed down with local beer… the tastiest curry in a long time. We will be returning.. the only thing I’d change about this place is the unisex toilets. Not a fan…men should have their own toilets. There was a smell of urine in both loos. A shame. However the food and service, exceptional.

We had a beautiful meal at Kal Dosa on Gloucester Road on 8th November while celebrating my husband’s birthday. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. The food was exceptional – full of flavour, beautifully presented and clearly made with care.

A special thank you to Virginia, who looked after us throughout the evening. She was knowledgeable, friendly and attentive without ever being intrusive. She genuinely went out of her way to make the evening feel special for us, and it made such a difference. Her recommendations were spot on, and her thoughtful approach turned a lovely meal into a really memorable experience.

We left feeling well looked after and very happy. We’ll definitely be returning and would highly recommend Kal Dosa to anyone looking for delicious food and great service.

We visited Kal Dosa today and had a lovely experience. We ordered Mysore Masala Dosa, Masala Dosa, Masala Chai, and some chaat. Everything tasted really nice. We also took some food for takeaway.

The Masala Dosa was light and fresh, with a tasty filling. The place has a good atmosphere, it’s clean, and the area around is pleasant.

The staff were nice and friendly, which made the visit even better.Everything was good. We really enjoyed it and will come back again!
