Absolutely the best Italian food in Birmingham. Only 5 months old and already Platinum for Best Italian Restaurant and #3 Best Takeout — well deserved. The owner was incredibly kind, everything is made fresh daily, with no processed foods, and all authentic, handcrafted Italian recipes. Don’t let the strip-mall location fool you — this place is a hidden gem that deserves way more recognition.

Stopped for a quick lunch at the outlet and ordered a pizza. The flavor of the sauce, toppings, and fresh crust (not frozen!!) was outstanding! It’s so hard to find a place that has fresh, quality ingredients and the perfect proportions to ensure every bite is fantastic and full of flavor without having an overwhelming amount of sauce. The cheese is from Wisconsin and so tasty! Highly recommend!

We had our Christmas dinner catered by Marano’s. The red sauce dishes, sphaghetti and chicken Parm were delicious. My favorites were the chicken piccata and Alfredo. Spicy rigatoni was a huge hit with those in my family that like some spicy heat. The sides, salads and focaccia were also wonderful. But the hits of the meal were the pizza. My family described them as some of the best pizza they’ve ever eaten. That says a lot in Birmingham where we have so many delicious pizza restaurants. To top it off, the customer service went above and beyond. We’ll be eating there often in the future.

Customer service was great, the host was fast, friendly and made sure to inform me of the wait time, the area is easy to find and accessible to everyone shopping, it was a little loud but it also was filled with kids this evening. I don’t often post reviews but I have been coming here often since I found this place and have never had complaints till recently. I wasn’t going to post even bad reviews, but feel it’s now needed. I normally get the stuffed shells or the bake spaghetti, this time was the shells, the sauce is not what I am accustomed to, not much flavor and tons of oil in the food, the meatballs were very small and the oil and grease took away from the flavor I had previously. Also my shells were broken and not filled with much cheese

We were driving down the interstate looking for something good but still quick for dinner. We stumbled on this place and decided to give it a try and it did not disappoint!! The two people working/owners were so nice and accommodating. My husband got stuffed shells and he devoured them. I got the Italabama pizza with marinara to dip the crunchy crust in and loved every bite. Will definitely add to our list of places to go again!

I ordered from here before and the food was good. This time I ordered the bake lasagna and as I soon as I took a bite I could tell the food was old and spoiled. I guess instead of throwing away old/bad food they are serving it to customers anyway to save money. I won’t order from here again!

We only eat certain meats and they were kind enough to customize the pizza to our liking. This pizza was 12/10 ! Highly recommend and they are now our new favorite pizza restaurant

Food was amazingly delicious! I had the spaghetti and meatballs. OMG! The meatballs were tender and juice and the marinara sauce was define. Definitely 10/10. Chef’s kiss!
