AB’s philly cheesesteak was a good overall its in a mall so I did not have high hopes it was definitely better than what i was expecting definitely better than the Philly Steak and Subs in El Cajon philly cheesesteak roll was toasted nicely meat was nicely seasoned good amount of cheese french fries were perfectly cooked great service and restaurant looked clean if you are at the mall or just want a philly cheesesteak in El Cajon try AB’s philly steak my only complaint is that there is not enough meat the reason for the loss of the star

VERY good philly cheese steak, especially for San Diego. I haven’t tried all the super popular philly cheese steak spots yet but so far this is my favorite I’ve come across. Everything was cooked fresh to order, onions and bell peppers tasted super fresh, and the bread was super soft and delicious. I’m not sure why so many places serve a philly on a super crunchy roll that destroys the roof of your mouth, but you won’t find that here. For $15 including fries and a drink I don’t think your going to beat the value anywhere nearby. The gentleman taking orders and cooking was also very friendly and quick. I’ll be back

I usually eat here and it’s pretty good probably the best Philly cheesesteak or Philly chicken I’ve had in a while but for some reason today he decided that he was going to put extra jalapeno peppers throughout my sandwich I told him I just wanted the normal amount that would usually come I’ve eaten there three times never has he done that many and I have told him I only want the regular amount and he asked if I want an extra mushrooms or peppers which I said no but it was so loaded throughout my sandwich that I had to pick them out there was literally more peppers than it was meat. I tried to give him another chance This dude tried to load my sandwich with peppers even though I said light peppers from the beginning and he gave me the wrong sandwich Check your bag he has a nasty attitude
