Whether you’re looking for hot corned beef or pastrami on rye, we have all your favorite sandwiches. And to ensure that everything tastes authentic, we cure our own meats and brine our own pickles in house. Hands down one of the best deli experiences I’ve had outside of NYC. Pomperdale Famous New York Deli delivers exactly what you hope for: massive portions, perfectly stacked sandwiches, and flavors that take you straight back to a classic New York deli.
The sandwich was unreal — tender, juicy, generously loaded, perfectly balanced with melted cheese, toasted bread, and classic sides. The coleslaw was fresh, the pickle was spot on, and every bite reminded me why NY delis are legendary. Honestly, nothing to envy from New York itself.

Don’t pass on this spot!!! In all my travels, I’ve never had a reuben this good outside of New York City. I’d even put it up there with the best NYC has to offer. This place is classic, they get it all right. On top of that, the staff is so friendly and hospitable. We come to the area every once in a while but every time we do, we have to eat here. Delicious food, friendly staff, clean place. Would absolutely recommend.

Oh my! Possibly the best New York style Deli in Florida, well the best we have been in.Had the NewYorker absolutely amazing. With a Half sour pickle and side dish of Coleslaw and potato salad. Top notch Jewish food. We took away the beef brisket knish which although good was lacking enough beef.

We had a fantastic experience at Pomperdale Famous NY Deli! Debbie greeted us so warmly and took great care of us at the counter. We both ordered the Nova Sandwich —fresh, flavorful, and absolutely delicious—and also grabbed a pastrami on rye to go that looked incredible. The deli is spotless, well run, and stocked with everything you’d want from a true NY deli. And with classic rock playing in the background, the whole experience feels just right. Can’t wait to come back!

I really love this place. The name is catchy, melding Pompano with Lauderdale. I had the corned beef hash (which is house made) with two eggs over easy and a latke. Really quite good. My dining partner had a cheeseburger. It was on special. She raved about it. I believe it was made of sirloin. The front of house was very friendly towards us. Love this place. Can’t wait to go back for a nice deli sandwich.

I ordered through the Uber eats. It said 25 minutes. After being told, it’s on my way for exactly 1 hour and 17 minutes from the order. Time, I pretty much gave up hope. He did finally arrive with ice cold soup and half the order was missing, the side items. I called the restaurant and she said we must’ve run out of the side items. I said well then credit me back something? She said next time you come in and don’t use Uber eats, I will give you 20% off. Like I would ever go there again! THEY RIPPED ME OFF! . So I guess my soup was driving around for an hour and 20 minutes . Restaurant drive, not Uber driver. And approximately and they expect me to eat it?

Food was ok, but tiny bug crawling on bagels, they charge 1.50 for plastic ware, but lowest of the lowest os that they refuse them. I showed the cashier the food residue on my plastic knife, she said its how they come out of the box, each breakfast plate was $25.99 super watered down coffe 3.50. So each breakfast is $31 + tax. I’ve been. Going to this place for nearly 20 years. Never going back. I will call health department on this joint
