It was my first time at Ganapati, and we were absolutely delighted with the food. The starters were amazing, and we shared a couple of mains that were just as delicious. We can’t wait to go back!

Great restaurant, the foods amazing, friendly staff and loved the dimly lit ambience. They must be doing something right as they have been open for 20 years. Need to book in advance as they are always busy.

The food was amazing as was the hospitality of the super friendly owner herself, the talented chefs and Johann our server.
He is an artist in the way he delivers the menu choices. We had decision paralysis as everything sounded so good. He asked what we liked, if we had any allergies and recommended dishes accordingly. Haven’t seen anyone enjoy what they do in such a long while and also do it well!! He could sell water to a fish!
Would recommend.

Had fantastic Indian food here, with authentic flavours and a good variety of veg food. Don’t miss the beetroot dosa or the dal paneer with paratha. I’m surely going back again.

We arrived very late in the evening, just before closing, and they still fed us with lots of smiles!
Food was delicious – fish curry and aubergine curry were both excellent and didn’t feel too heavy (especially for such a late dinner!)
And you must try their roti!
Salted pistachio ice cream was also super tasty.
Very lovely and welcoming end to a long day, will be back!

Outstanding authentic South Indian food off the beaten track in a largely residential part of Peckham. Such flavours (including an unusual savoury lassi drink)! Definitely worth the expedition from the far North (we live just outside Watford!) We were celebrating my wife’s birthday with our (Peckham) daughter & some surprise guests. One couple came in from Gloucestershire! Charming service & a lovely relaxed atmosphere.

It was my first time trying Indian food, my friend took me, and I actually quite liked it. I especially loved the seating area, though the staff could have been a bit more welcoming!

Love the food here, good vibes and good food. Great place to have a nice dinner with friends and family. Friendly atmosphere and staff service. Recommend the poppadom and king prawns for starters, the sea bass curry with their famous flaky bread is also a must. My partner also had the spicy chicken curry which tasted great also. The curry here doesn’t feel heavy but rather light but still flavourful which is something I really like in Indian food. Price was around £20-30 per person which increases to £40-50 per person if wine et al. was ordered.

One of the best curry’s I’ve had in a while- the prawn curry! Chicken patties and daal also very good. Their dips for poppadums are too die for – especially the garlic chutney
