Can you imagine such an unassuming restaurant along the Eagan strip would have so many dishes? With a selection of oysters, octopus, margaritas made in house, I opted for a grilled mojarra. When you think of tilapia you expect a flavorless sad fish, but at El Parian it is perfectly crispy and flavorful while maintaining moisture. And at the booths with a wide variety of hot sauces: Salsa Huichol, El Yucateca, Valentina, and Maggi! Looking for nearby spot with a charismatic crew? Come by for sure.

Had a takeout order from here a few weeks ago and everything we got was quite good. The real standout was the gentleman who took my order. I think he could tell I had an incredibly hard day, and he was exceptionally kind, welcoming, and compassionate. He was also fantastic with the people who came in. From this restaurant I ordered some food to be delivered. These were nachos and a combo consisting of quesadilla, a cheese enchilada and a bean burrito. The food looked extremely terrible, on the other hand the taste was surprisingly ok. But as you eat with your eyes first, I don’t think, that I would reorder. And another negative point was, that the drink I ordered with the food came as a fountain drink, which did not taste at all.

Clean and open space. Not a very large dinning room but was not over full. The front windows let in a lot of light, and the seats are comfortable. Service was fast, the servers friendly and helpful when asked questions. Food came quickly and was delicious! The price was very reasonable. This will now be my go to Mexican restaurant of choice!

It’s been awhile since I’ve eaten at a Mexican restaurant that I felt was not only close to authentic but also very tasty. My friend invited me raving about the food and I will agree, this is the best I’ve had in MN so far. The service is great and I love that they are no frills. Didn’t have a drink but their margaritas looled tasty. The Al pastor tacos were delicious. Still won’t beat Guajillos in San Antonio though. If you guys can make tostadas de picadillo I’ll have a new fav.

I ordered via DoorDash. Food was still warm when I got it. Taste pretty good. Rice and beans were great, what you’d expect from a Mexican restaurant. The nacho sauce was really good and the burrito was what you’d except to keep you coming back.
