The Edge Seafood Restaurant & SkyBar is a unique restaurant on the Destin Harbor, offering waterfront, al fresco dining. Unlike most “waterfront” restaurants, The Edge was built directly on top of the water, providing panoramic views of shimmering tides. Named for the fishing spot where the continental shelf drops off along the famed 100-Fathom Curve, supporting our local fisheries is at the heart of everything we do. Featuring authentic Floridian coastal cuisine, our menu uses fresh, locally sourced seafood & produce whenever possible, including fish from our local commercial fishermen & produce from our own farm located right here in Northwest Florida. If you’re looking for some of the freshest seafood in Destin, The Edge Seafood Restaurant on the water absolutely delivers. From the moment we sat down, we knew we were in for a great night.
We started with a dozen baked oysters, and they were incredible — perfectly cooked and packed with flavor. They were so good that before the night was over, we ordered another dozen… this time raw. Fresh, briny, and exactly what you hope for when you’re on the coast.
For our entrées, we both ordered their signature dish, the Grouper Morena, and it did not disappoint. One was garnished with fresh asparagus, the other with roasted Brussels sprouts — both plated beautifully and cooked to perfection. The grouper was tender, flavorful, and easily some of the best we’ve had in Destin.
The entire evening was fabulous, but what truly elevated the experience was our server, Tawni. She was attentive, friendly, and made great recommendations without being overbearing. Her service made an already excellent meal even better.
If you want waterfront views, fresh seafood, and top-notch service in Destin, The Edge should be at the top of your list. We’ll definitely be back.

I can’t believe we didn’t visit this place sooner! Everything was absolutely amazing. From the moment we walked in, the staff was so attentive and welcoming. Our waitress, Gaby, was incredible — so sweet and full of great recommendations that did not disappoint.
Every dish we ordered tasted fresh and was packed with flavor. You can truly tell they care about quality and presentation. And let’s not forget the views — absolutely stunning and the perfect backdrop for an already perfect meal.

I had an absolutely fantastic experience at the Sky Bar at the Edge. The food and drinks were outstanding—especially the Island Chicken, which was cooked perfectly and packed with flavor. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with great live music that made the night even more enjoyable.
The staff here are incredibly attentive; it truly feels like they treat everyone like family. A special shoutout to Kat—she’s an amazing person who clearly cares about creating a fun, welcoming environment. Her energy and genuine kindness made my time here even better.

Choose this place for our anniversary dinner and it did not disappoint. We dined downstairs in the main dining area and could hear the band. The view was great. I’m not a seafood person and was able to sub chicken in the pasta dish, and my partner got a crab boil. Salad was good with real balsamic! The key lime pie was probablyy favorite ever. Miracle was out server and she was very attentive without hovering and was a pleasure to talk to when she was at our table! Would definitely go here again.

We had an amazing Anniversary dinner here today. Savannah was a great server. We didn’t take any pictures of our meal unfortunately. My wife had the Grouper Moreno which was excellent and I had the Red Fish with coconut rice and brussells. There was a fresh mango salsa on the Red Snapper. The portions were huge and more than enough. They treated us to 1 dessert and we had to try the key lime pie as well. Definitely will be coming back.

Fantastic atmosphere and fantastic food. I got the shrimp and grits and it was probably the best shrimp and grits dish I have ever had. 10/10! I also got some gumbo, and it some of the better gumbo I have had on my trip south.

Excellent food, outstanding service, and a fantastic atmosphere. Fresh, delicious seafood paired with friendly, attentive staff made the experience even better. The waterfront location offers a beautiful harbor view, and the live band at the Sky Bar adds great energy to the night. A perfect spot for a relaxing and enjoyable evening in Destin. Highly recommended!

The two girls sitting at the front entrance were completely detached from their jobs. Feet kicked up and on their phones. They could care less about why you were there and made you feel like you were an inconvenience to them.
I was expecting the food to be better for the price and it was my first time eating crab, the crab was completely mushie and had a strong fishy flavor. I received the Mahi Mahi tacos and those were ok, the wagyu burger wasnt too bad but neither were exploding with flavor. I paid over 200 dollars for a sub par meal and a bad attitude coming in the door. The only thing I really liked about this restaurant was the view, other than that it wasnt worth the money.
