I have lived in the area for the last 5 years but just recently tried this place. I always just assumed it was Mexican food but it’s definitely not. It’s sooo good! I love the jalapeno poppers too. The only kind of negative thing I could say was one night I went in and the ppl working weren’t the nicest but my food was still great. I went in tonight tho and it was different ppl and they were all super kind.

Haven’t had PJG in years..
Been wanting to take my wife there so finally took a long drive out.
I must say it was so good, I can’t wait to go back!
Had the steak burrito.
Wife got the rice bowl with chicken and steak. She really enjoyed it.
Salsa was good and the chips.

Today was the first time I have eaten at a Pepper Jax and I was not disappointed. Not only was the food delicious but the customer service a 10 out of 10! Everyone working this afternoon was phenomenal (3 guys and a young woman) and they all worked as a team so well! Will be back again because all of the above!

Boyfriend and I drove 30 mins to come to this location because all of the locations near us closed and it had been a couple of years since we had pepperjax. The manager was awesome and super kind and the food was fire just like we remembered. We even got some to go. Will definitely be coming back. We ❤️ pepperjax.

I got the shrimp bowl w two sauces and onions and mushrooms. And fries w half shredded cheese and half cheese sauce. I received shrimp and rice w three mushrooms, a few grilled onions and maybe a teaspoon of sauce. Just one sauce. And fries w cheese sauce on the side. Not at all impressed and would have returned it for a refund if I was in the restaurant.

My first trip to eat at Pepper Jax Grill in Belton. By their sign it’s always been difficult to tell what type of restaurant it is. So I’ve never eaten at a Pepper Jax Grill. At first glance I thought a Mexican restaurant yet a closer look you see Philly for Philly Steak sandwich which I seem to always think of Philadelphia steak sandwich. This particular restaurant never seems to have any guests which also tells me a lot. So today I chose to experiment where I ate dinner. Pepper Jax Grill’s menu, much like Chipotle’s, initially I had a hard time figuring out the menu. Much of what I saw like the sauces I don’t eat. I wasn’t sure of the whole process of ordering. After being asked by the grill cook what I wanted I was still unsure and told her that. I told her I wasn’t sure trying to understand the menu and mentioned a couple of things of which the cook could not hear me due to the noise level where she was. She said speak up. After several attempts she got very short with me. I then raised my voice real loud and she finally heard me. I watch her cook the Philly meat which wasn’t much meat. Then the next person put the meat on a bun. The meat was so little the bun didn’t hardly have any meat. He then took the sandwich dropped into a sandwich box closed it up and began ringing it up. I then asked if the sandwich got any of the things like lettuce and other items. That’s when he gave me this being nice tone of voice while disrespecting me verbal attitude. He said ya can get that if you want it. That statement coupled with the kind disrespect I said forget it then. It was like I was putting them out by finishing my sandwich. He asked if it was to go or eat in. I replied to go now, I had intended to eat in, so I can get out here. A $12 sandwich with almost nothing on it. No value there. I could have gotten 50% more food for $9. I review restaurants frequently because I eat 3 meals a day in restaurants. I travel on vacation cross country and around Missouri and KC stopping to eat at all kinds of restaurants. Some restaurant reviews I’ve given has generated as many as 100,000 plus views in as little as a few months. The question I’ve asked my self many times about this Belton restaurant is why they seldom have customers. Tonight that was fully answered. I would not recommend this restaurant.

It was great! 1st time going there and I was very impressed with the taste of the food. I had a grilled chicken rice bowl. Everything was very good tasting and I got a good size portion for the price. Others that I went there with ordered the philly cheese steak sandwich and fries. I tasted the fries, they were very very good. Overall I was very impressed with the place and I will go back. I also recommend it for sure.

Nice relaxing atmosphere at night. Good Phillies and burritos, cheddar cheese dip tastes better than the white. Seasoned fries are but tortilla chips are plain. Service was good and courteous.

Decided to try here after my Dad heard their radio commercial. And I am not disappointed. I got a steak burrito with banana peppers and onions and mushrooms and cheese and tomatoes and black olives and spicy ranch and sour cream. It was delicious and HUGE. The kids’ meals were too small for the price, but the adult burrito I got was awesome. And the fries are crunchy on the outside and soft and flavorful on the inside.
Plus the bathrooms were immaculate and smelled fresh. Definitely recommend.
