Our Millbrae downtown has many coffee shops, and I don’t drink coffee. But if I have to, Peet’s coffee is my choice.
This coffee shop offers very friendly service, and we love its location, next to an oversized parking lot.
We parked our car, had a coffee, and then walked to the farmer’s market for our weekly produce and bread.
Their coffee is very fresh and delicious. Highly recommended.

It’s the most infamous place I’ve ever seen in my life. Employees do not speak English. I waited for half an hour for my order to be prepared. What a disgrace!!!!!

It was ok. Walked in, placed order, barista seemed to not pay attention to the job. She was talking with boyfriend and 5mins of the order she clocked out. So the drink were not up to standard.

I tried the oat milk cold brew latte, honestly, I wasn’t able to taste any coffee. I would not buy again for almost $6.
This store itself is very busy and is a little messy. Specifically, they just sweep the trash/dirt to hide them underneath their table for sugar/milk. The restroom could be cleaner.
The store is run by very young staffs, and they seem to be very busy chatting among themselves.

Truth Integrity
I changed my mind very fast about this location due to Jasmine poor attitude. She comes off very snooty, and when I walked in, she greeted all the cops but me.. this used to be a favorite location but today I was completely turned off. The other staff here are Great, but Jasmine not my favorite. I pre-ordered my coffee and it wasn’t ready so I sat and wait Jasmine took everybody’s order and after waiting to 615 she said because I had a pre-order she wouldn’t prepare it until 615. Several people received their drinks before I did even though I prepared. By ordering ahead..

I ordered an iced drink but received a hot one because the person who took my order entered it wrong. When I let the barista know, she said the system showed it as hot and could remake it, which was fine. Then another staff member handed me the new drink and told me I should “ask nicely next time,” even though I was polite and simply clarified that I did order it iced. I didn’t raise my voice or say anything rude, yet somehow I was treated like I was at fault. Mistakes happen, but the staff should take responsibility and remind their team! not imply the customer is wrong. I even tipped, but the overall experience was disappointing 🙁

They have a La Marzocco coffee machine, but no one is using it – all the coffee is done on an automated coffee machine. With the corresponding quality. If you want a really tasty coffee, not a coffee drink, take a look for another place
