Went there today. Got the chorizo con huevo Burrito. It was full of potatoes, egg rice beans and just a speckle if chorizo. I took it back. The server didn’t agree with me that there was little chorizo but did end up taking it back and although the second time around the chorizo was thrown on top strewn on the plate, the flavor was good I could actually taste Chorizo!!

First time visit for my mom. My mom ordered soup to go shortly before closing and brought it home. We live about five minutes away, so it was eaten right after purchase.
Later that night she became very sick and experienced vomiting and was unable to sleep. Because of how quickly the symptoms started, I called the restaurant the next day to report it so they could check the food.
I asked to speak with a manager but was given the runaround about who the manager was. Only later was I told the person I was speaking with was the owner, which felt unclear and frustrating while trying to report a food safety concern.
I explained what was ordered and what happened and asked that the food be checked. The response was dismissive. I was told their food is always good and that it may be allergies, including a comment that I could say my mom has no allergies just like she could say her food is always good. No follow up or resolution was offered.
I understand the cause of an illness cannot always be confirmed, but transparency and willingness to review concerns matter. Sharing this experience so the issue can be taken seriously and customer concerns handled better.

Sometimes some of your best meals are found off the beaten track. Such as this place. You could easily drive by and miss it off you’re not looking. Butt once inside you place your order, sorry down D wait for your Ford that comes out surpassingly quick and it’s piping hot.
Can I just tell you that the Al pastor is seasoned perfectly. Full of flavor and the carne asada tacos that I ordered we’re just as delicious.
The owner I think it’s very hospitable and welcoming, treaty you like you’re a guest inn the house and makes sure you have everything you need.
Go have yourself some great Mexican food and support this local business

I have been here a few times, more than anything for their aguas frescas. Their food has that homemade taste. Simple and tasty. I’m a big fan of their shrimp tacos and tamarindo. The staff is so sweet and friendly.

So happy to have found this Mexican restaurant in Walnut. It was my first time here and me and my family loved it. We ordered Pazole, Enchiladas, tamales, taquitos and guacamole. Not to mention the Horchatas that were delicious. We will be returning here again for sure. I have met Francisco here and he told me they have been around for over 25 years.

Pretty good. Clean and fresh tasting. It isnt amazing, but good enough to get if you are near by. 4/5 stars. A little stingy with salsas and drinks.

Please DO NOT order this food to go in the morning like my girlfriend and I did this morning. Currently quarantined and I know they say its hard to taste anything when sick with the Vid but my God 0 absolutely 0 taste. This morning on my huevos con chilequiles, the rice and beans looks like someone puked on my plate its so wet. The rice is tasteless, I can feel it in my mouth but thats it. The actual huevos con chiliquiles looks like precooked lasagna and has a very mushy consistency. Thankfully uber was able to issue me a refund because the attached pictures are as far as I’m willing to go eating this. Moved recently from LA and this is a sad excuse for real Mexican food

Local Mexican restaurant with self-service salsa bar and great wet burritos. Located right on Valley, this has been a long-standing spot for me to come to whenever I want a deluxe burrito with green enchilada sauce. The burritos are big and reasonably priced. They have rice and beans inside, and you have your choice of meat (ie carne asada, machacha, carnitas, etc). There are some vegetarian options as well, since they do have chile relleno. I noticed quite a few people get the seafood, and they have fried fish plates. If you eat in, you can help yourself to the chips and salsa bar. The chipotle salsa (mild spice) has a deep, smokey flavor and is unique to most other salsas you’d usually see, while the hot tomato salsa gives a nice heat. The pico de gallo is also a good option, and is mild. They have alcohol, and they do take credit card ($7 minimum). Bathrooms are available in the hallway by the salsa bar, and there’s no free WiFi. They have a parking lot in the front and usually spots are open – if not, then it’s usually a short wait for someone to pull out.

I have been coming to this place throughout the years but the quality of the food has gone down so much. This last time I went, I ordered a regular Milanesa torta. It was flavorless. It came apart so easily. Last time I will be coming here unfortunately.
