We’ve been going to this location Store #23316 in Morrow for several years due its close proximity. Initially we thought we had the wrong address because it is connected to a gas station and convenience store. We only visited this Cold Stone Creamery location, which was not only close but had always provided a great experience along with good customer services to get our favorite ice dessert, but lately things have drastically changed at this location.

Within the past few years we’ve noticed a shift in everything from the energy of the store to the customer service. First, we started to notice the sewage or dirty mop type smell which is definitely a turnoff but we wanted to patronize the establishment anyway yet made a note of this matter to see if this would be a normal occurrence or a one off. Next we noticed the uneasiness of the employee but didn’t understand until the franchisee employer came into view, stood next to the employee and began to hover over the employee as they made our treat.

On another occasion this same employer instead of hovering stood behind the employee and watched them and continued to correct the employee. This type of action made us uneasy as we watched the employer interact with the employee and we made a note of this. Another time we were greeted by the employee and not the employer, the same lady.

After several attempts to patronize this place the smell got better and the employees were able to operate freely without the employer hovering over them. On different occasions we noticed that this location would be closed frequently, we assumed that it was due to their inability to keep employees. After a while, we stopped patronizing this place and went to the Conyers location instead.

Today, we were in the area and decided to go visit the Morrow location again and what we experienced was once again very unsettling. As we were trying to pay for our dessert, a line began to form because the franchisee employer was online remotely doing something pertaining to the employees payroll which impacted the cash register. This disruption caused us to have to wait for 10 to 15 minutes.

The employee continued to service other customers, of which 10 more minutes had passed, and had to call the employer to let them know that they were unable to cash out the customers because of this online remote disruption. Finally after a total of 20-30 minutes we were able to pay for our dessert.

But while waiting we found out some other unsettling things about this employer 1) during our wait they were changing employers hours despite having worked additional hours than noted on the screen 2) employees were not paid OT worked and 3) tips given by customers add to our credit cards are not fully passed on to them.

I’ve been noticing a precedent on tipping where employees are not FULLY getting their tips when working for various companies from UBER and fast food to restaurants, this practice is happening everywhere frequently.

We will no longer be going back to this establishment. We have had enough of poor services. This is why cash is king. Please give those that you tip CASH.

Ever since my kids introduced me to this place when I got out of the hospital, Cold Stone has been my favorite place to come. They serve the best ice cream and the toppings are the best. And they are always coming up with new flavors and toppings.

Where to begin? Great service – the crew is mostly staffed with young adults whom are sooo courteous and respectful. They are patient and deliberate with your order and provide a welcoming customer experience. My fiancée and I make the drive twice a week from Stockbridge because they serve the silk non dairy but mainly because of the great customer service. Two scoops nondairy with pecans and one scoop non dairy with walnuts. A 10 in my book!

While trying to use a $5 off coupon, I added 2 waffle cones that they didn’t have. I thought that they were in the bag only to get home to nothing. A bunch of kids running this location. sn:Good help is hard to find.

The ice cream was really good but the customer service leaves a lot to be desired. Also was told by the employee “thanks for the tip but I don’t get it, I only get cash tips”. We had no idea this was the case (there was no sign) and now are wondering where the electronic tips go?? Disappointing experience.

Ja’khi and Amani were amazing . The best customer service ever and I would definitely recommend coming when they’re working. If I could give 10 stars I definitely would. Please keep them on board because you will definitely continue to get my money. Thanks for the great customer service and being patient with us!

So upset my daughter found the back of an earring in her ice cream. The young lady making the ice cream had an earring missing. They did not refund my money and replace her ice cream they only replaced her ice cream bc they said they have to call their manager. This is disgusting and disappointing. Imagine eating your ice cream and find someone’s nasty earring back in and how u sanitary that is. If I could give 0 stars I would and on top of it they wanted me to wait until everyone else was served. Disgusted and disappointed!

Just visited this place and this boy/ girl with blonde hair name Joanna had the worst attitude and was extremely rude to my wife and myself. We didn’t order anything complicated and it seemed like he/she was just very upset with making two standard cups of ice cream with two toppings & a kids cup. She had a very smart mouth. However other girl named Amani that helped us was nice. We visit this specific location often and we’ve never experienced this level of unprofessional customer service. Management please look into whoever is serving your patrons so you don’t lose business.
