Service was good! However, we ordered the general tso chicken and fried rice and my sister had chicken and broccoli……..the rice was EXTREMELY crunchy! The chicken and broccoli had no sauce just pale chicken no seasoning no sauce and ntm it was watery like soup! The general tso chicken was extremely mushy and gross, no form just spicy mush! My daughter had the Chinese donuts and they were raw in the middle, when asked for a refund we were told we had to wait for a manager and there isn’t one on site nor around to come and refund the order

I was extremely disappointed with this place. I’ve had Indian street food that tasted far better than this, which says a lot. The food lacked seasoning entirely and did not resemble Chinese cuisine in flavor or preparation. I was really hoping this would become my new local spot, but after this experience, I’ll be sticking with Panda Express.

No sauces were included with the order. The lo mein was made with what tasted and looked like plain spaghetti. The “fried rice” was not fried rice by any standard, and the chicken was so unappetizing it honestly looked like bugs. Overall, the food quality was very poor.

Very disappointed. I do not recommend this place and will not be returning. The reviews speak for themselves. My fault for not checking prior to ordering.

Please place definitely surprised me. A friend took me here for dinner to try the fare, and it was delicious. He said, “just so you know, the portions here are small, so keep that in mind”. When the food came out, my eyes were so huge. You could easily feed three ppl with the shrimp lo mein I ordered. My friend ordered the combination lo mein which so delicious. The food pleasantly surprised me. All the flavors in the lo mein went really well today. They use quality ingredients and they don’t skimp on the veggies or protein in these dishes. We also had some crab rangoons with the usual bright red orange sauce. This they also make from scratch and is good.

The staff was friendly, attentive, and very helpful. I left there feeling really welcomed.

Now the reason for the 4 stars instead of 5. The place needs major updating and general spring cleaning. Tables and chairs are wobbly or dingy. They have seen better days. This is normally a place I would not choose to eat at, but because my friend knows the staff and management, and vouches for the place in general, I accepted. Thankfully all went well.

If you’re not used to dining in a hole in the wall type place but are curious about the food, I say order takeout. While dining, I noticed they had a lot of orders for takeout which goes to show they have good fare in my opinion. Would definitely eat here again, for take out.

If I could give the food NO stars I would!! It was lacking flavor, egg rolls tasted nasty like uncooked spring rolls. The Jalapeño Shrimp had small little shrimp, no seasoning, and not spicy at all. I order calamari and it was so hard as if it sat for a while and not fresh. Mind you I ordered this 1650 and got is 1745. I couldn’t eat it at all waisted 42 bucks for this trash. I wouldn’t give this food to the homeless if my life depended on it. The worker that I spoke to was very respectful. I asked to speak to the manager apparently that manager must not work during their business hours. Because I was told the manager won’t be in til 2230 after their close of business. I would not and won’t recommend this place, I refuse to eat at non-flavored disgusting place. Schezuan, Seoul Garden, Beijing kitchen is by far superior to this place. Do me a favor and do better. If the manager was available like most restaurants I would tell you about all this. Also, you know the food is bad when you allow your pup to try a bite and he spits it right out. I would like a refund and I’ll even bring you back this food! To all managers your front store person has my number and name. Call me asap! This food should be illegal.

While the exterior and interior decor leave little to be desired, the food quality as well as staff far surpass all expectations. The portions for lunch will feed you for lunch and dinner. I highly recommend coming to this place if you want authentic great tasting Chinese food. Prices are unbelievably low for what you are getting. This is now my favorite place!

I’ve ordered from here multiple times that I usually really like this restaurant. But today was just not their day. I ordered delivery. It took about an hour to arrive by the time it did arrive. All the fried food was cold and soggy, and in my beef and broccoli. There were like three Edible pieces of steak… The rest were hard, almost like gristle. The delivery girl seemed sweet, so I still tipped her well, but I was very disappointed in the quality of my food and the time that it took to get to me

It’s called Hot Wok, but it should be called Hot Garbage. This is what their Orange Chicken, Sesame Chicken and Vegetable and Tofu actually look like. Oddly the chicken has an odd texture to it and their claim of being fried is a little odd. I feel like I am eating something that tastes like chicken, but is not chicken. I seriously am considering contacting my credit card company to seek a refund because this was garbage.

Update – 2-18-23 – a better option than this place would be to go and retrieve the contents of a porta-potty after Oktoberfest, just stating my opinion.

In a single phrase, it’s dog food. The food did come fast, but wasn’t cheap and it CERTAINLY wasn’t good. We ordered some takeout and picked it up, the cashier gave us a zoned out look and told us that she “thinks it should all be there” but of course it’s all tied in a bag that would be awkward to open to check before leaving, so we just trusted that it was there.

The orange chicken was the worst I’ve ever had. Slimy with ZERO orange flavor, just a vague sweetness. Rice shared a similar blandness. The sweet and sour arrived without sauce at all, just cooked unseasoned chicken. Chicken lo mein and egg drop soup were passing at least, but definitely not worth the money. Our German Shepard mix enjoyed it very much

Ordered 100 worth of food online, got a tracking and order ready text. We came to pick up, it wasnt even in their system. So it wasnt made or started. We asked how long, they assured us 10 mins. Nope 35 mins later, 4 people leaving with food and we had to go in a 3rd time. No refunds, no coupons, nothing as a solution. Horrible, will not return. Order Beijing or Panda instead
