A friend and I took the road less traveled to the beach and stopped here for lunch on the way. We were rewarded with the most delicious gorditas and taquitos ever! The rice and beans are prepared traditionally by mom (who’s actually in the kitchen – we met her and her daughter, the co-owner). Highly recommended with no reservations! The BEST CARNE ASADA TACOS….we’ll seasoned and everything was fresh, hot and the sauces were delicious and spicy. I am glad this place is far away from, because it’s delicious and worth it.

The food is always good. I get the cow tongue burrito and EVERY single time it is amazing. The aguas frescas are so good too I definitely recommend trying them. The atmosphere is good and the people are very sweet and attentive. I have never had a bad experience!

Great Mexican food, authentic and fresh, easily accessible off the highway. We came here as a midway stop from Raleigh to Oak Island. Highly recommend the Pollo Plantillos, Tacos, and Pollo Con Arroz. Great service!! We will be back again!!!!! Thank you for making delicious meals.

This place is the most authentic Mexican restaurant. It feels like you have sat down in someone’s kitchen and they are feeding you with love. The food is homemade and you can tell it. I have never had this most amazing Mexican food anywhere else. It is a must try. The prices are great, the service treat you like family, and you will definitely leave with a clean plate.
