My first visit to Rudy’s was great. The place was big with plenty of tables for groups. We ordered brisket- which was melt in your mouth good, baby back ribs, turkey and sausage which were all fantastic. Highly recommended.

Not all Rudy’s are created equal! A little better than hotel breakfast though. Breakfast? For one they don’t pack it in. Secondly they don’t mix the ingredients. ( Can it be anymore difficult to mix in the ingredients?) And last but least they don’t have chorizo!!! What?!! NO CHORIZO!! GET THE ROPE!! RUDY’S IN Corpus Christi tx do have chorizo and let me say it’s very good and different. They make their own.

Excellent Texas hospitality from Gavin!
He overheard us order and ask about turkey and the baked potatoes (this was first thing in the morning, I am on a night schedule so expected a no but was really wanting it ). Cashier said they weren’t serving them at this time but Gavin went out of his way to check and personally got some for us that just came off the pit. Appreciate not only his attentiveness of paying attention to everything going on as line manager but also the effort to go the extra mile to make a customer happy.
Food was amazing as well!!

You think 1/2 pound is a lot… It doesn’t look like it when they give it to you, but it’s filling. Their jalapeños are just the right level of spice, and the banana pudding is scrumptious. The coleslaw is a bit too sweet for my taste, but my son loves it, which means he’s eating veggies so I’m happy.

Three stars because this Rudy’s brisket has gone downhill fast. You’re probably fine ordering other meats but please don’t expect good Texas Brisket. There was a day it was solid but now it’s just bland. Go to HEB True Texas or even Poky Joe’s for better brisket.

Came in for a quick bite and gas well ended up just getting gas. The young lady that opened the door for me was very courteous and welcoming thank you! After paying for my gas pumping I came back in to order some brisket. Not only was the gentleman rude but very disappointed in his attitude when I asked him if I could just get a brisket sandwich. I decided not to order and left. No reason to order food when people have NO customer service skills and serve with an attotude.
