TEXAS ROADHOUSE
When friends asked if I wanted to join them at the Texas Roadhouse in Riverview for lunch, I was in. It’s my go to place when I crave a steak cooked to perfection. I used the app on my phone to get on the wait list and when we arrived we were immediately seated.
We were not disappointed, our drinks and their signature honey cinnamon buns and butter and their Cactus Blossom appetizer hit the spot as we waited for our main course. The three of us watched the staff participate in a birthday celebration for a young man in the booth next to us. They brought out a saddle which he mounted as all joined in singing happy birthday and cameras captured the moment. I noticed some great additions to the menu. The first thing that caught my eye was the dirty soda. Not really a dirty soda but new drink choices that are listed on the menu under that category. I won’t give the flavors away but after ordering them we were hooked.
We. Were still working on the Cactus Blossom when our meals arrived. No surprise that the steak was cooked to perfection. Another new item on the menu was the introduction of a list of 11 Entrees main course items at prices you would pay at a stop for roadside hamburgers. They are offered for diners on Monday to Thursday until 5:00 PM.
Our great table service was enhanced by the manager who stopped by our table to inquire about our service and meals. Free peanuts to take home make it a choice dining experience

Ordered the Family strip 8 oz Family house salad pack To Go. I was not impressed with the steak. It was supposed to be cooked to medium. It came medium rare. The salad had good portions. The green beans and mashed potatoes were not big enough for 4 people. Maybe for 1 person. 12 rolls for 4 people? Filler food to make up for the small portions of green beans and potatoes…maybe? I was having a pretty rough day so my roommate recommended dinner here. The parking lot was packed and I can definitely see why❤️ . Even though it was extremely busy, the QR code app made it easy to check in and facilitate being seated. The ambiance was lively and the atmosphere was dare I say so joyful that my rough day melted away after the servers got down with a line dance . Our server was efficient even though it was busy and I will definitely be making the half hour drive to join in on the fun that is Texas Roadhouse . Did I mention the steak is A+++ and the shrimp, rice bread and sweet tea was AMAZING . Keep up the great work guys ❤️ .

Disappointed. I usually love this place and the service is always great when dining in. Unfortunately, the take-out was so disappointing. I ordered a medium well steak and it came medium rare literally blood in center, I couldn’t eat it.
The steak kabob tasted good but the portion was so small compared to when we’ve gone and dined in. Def not worth the price, my husband was still hungry when he finished.
And with dinner rolls usually good portion in restaurant only four rolls for entire order. Won’t be ordering out again.

I have been to this location a few times but today was an INSANE EXPERIENCE! We walked in the door and we were already salivating at the steaks in the fridge… I jokingly said ILL HAVE THAT ONE right there and the young lady said very politely “And how would you like that cooked?” Yeeesssssss Maam this is what I’m talking about!!!. They were so sweet up front, took my steak out of the window and gave me a ticket for my server. Then we had Carlos. Great service. Polite, prompt, on task. Now the food.. Smh… Sweet Baby Jesus of Nazareth! Who made those green beans??? I need 10 to go! They were a smoked,baconyyy, smooth, seasoned (possibly some fat back flavor) kinda taste 10 out of 10! Everything was seasoned to perfection ( and I’m a salt and pepper shaker gal) ! The onions.. smh .. the ONIONS! Just go…

It’s a very laid back, friendly environment. Steaks are mostly upscale steakhouse quality, sides are served fresh, and the beer cold.
If you have never been here, you will be tempted to eat ALL the fresh rolls. Not just good, addicting! Save room for the meal, and take the leftover rolls home (trust me).
All in all, a consistently good meal. Atmosphere would have a 5th star, but it’s an energetic place, and sometimes can get loud.

This was my first time visiting the restaurant, and I had been wanting to come for a long time. I’m so glad I finally did! I absolutely loved the place. From the moment my family and I walked in, the service was outstanding. Everyone was incredibly kind and attentive.
Our server was a young woman who wore glasses (I don’t remember her name ), and she was amazing—always checking on us and making sure we were comfortable. The manager also came to our table to make sure everything was perfect, which really made us feel valued as guests.

Listen they have the BEST takeout! Prepared with so much care, for instance the hamburger bun is wrapped in foil so it doesn’t get soggy! Like okay I see you being LEGENDARY! Truly a pleasure getting home to eat a meal properly packaged and not missing a beat,bread butter all the sauces and sides—— they never fail packaged to a T!! Trust me you won’t be disappointed
