We came all the way from Sydney to visit Hobart and ended up discovering this absolute gem. The food scene here is unreal and this place really stood out. Honestly the food is to die for and the gnocchi ragu is an absolute must and so is the Ravioli in the picture!
The service was beautiful. Everyone was so kind and genuinely great with recommendations. Even though it was busy it never felt too loud or overwhelming which made the whole experience even better. The decor and ambience were spot on. Warm welcoming and just really well done.
Easily one of the highlights of our Hobart trip. We would come back in a heartbeat!!

We loved everything about this place! Came here on holidays from Sydney and we were trying to find the best Italian restraunt in Hobart, this came up as a recommendation. Was so happy that we managed to get a booking here, as soon as we walked into the restraunt, the atmosphere was beautiful. The lay out and decor of the Restraunt was very cozy and nice. The service was beyond amazing, everyone was so helpful and attentive and had a great smile on their face. The food was AMAZING, literally the best gnocchi I’ve ever had, it was cooked perfectly and the ragu was phenomenal. Prices were very affordable and reasonable. If I’m back in Tasmania, I’ll Defs be coming back to this spot. Highly recommend 🙂

Beautiful Italian restaurant with nice and romantic decor, excellent food and amazing service. We were looked after by very knowledgeable Columbian girl but I didn’t catch her name. Thank you for looking after us. Highly recommend to anyone this restaurant.

3.5 food.
The prawn Bruschetta was amazing!
The Spaghetti marinara was nice i just found the fish had a strong taste and was over poweing.
My friend had the Risotto, it was a little bit bland, lacking flavour.
We shared a penna cotta it was soft and nice.
This Restaurant has a lot of Potential just needs a little bit fine tuning

Despite the fact we somehow were able to book at 5pm (a mystery to everyone!) yet the restaurant didn’t officially allow bookings until 5.30, we were accommodated fast. All the staff were friendly and we didn’t feel like burdens at all. The food was amazing, especially the garlic bread. Thank you so much for your hospitality and we will definitely be back!

Tucked away in Magnet Court at Sandy Bay, sits Don Camillo. It is a local institution. The service is friendly, the atmosphere cosy and the food delicious.
We started with the cheese plate, to open up our appetite. I ordered the veal. The meat was juicy and tender, served with mashed potato and sauteed vegetables. The pork chop was also awesome. Overall, great experience.

This place is better than Italian restaurants in Italy. I don’t know if it the great Tassie ingredients or the way the chef makes it, but is is very good. I recommend the spaghetti carbonara. The steak looked awesome and my fussy daughter ate it all. It has great ambiance and the staff are top tier. Go here if you want good food.
