This is a little place that’s been around forever, maybe 1946. They serve good burgers and tater tots and several old classics like onion rings. Their shakes are delicious with the whip topping. You can get a burger with or without sesame seeds. The sesame seed buns have a copious amount of sesame seeds. They even have their own little parking area. You can either eat inside or outside. Definitely worth a visit.

The chili cheese fries were good. The fries stayed crispy. The burger reminded me of in and out. The chocolate shake is vanilla ice-cream with chocolate syrup. Just keep your head on a swivel.

We went after a show and amazing burgers! Not a smash burger but pretty close to one, sides were crispy and grilled onions were cooked to perfection. String fries along with the combo and highly recommended the Best Burger on The Menu, their double patty. We’ll make the drive out to mid-Wilshire for this burger.

*[My pics don’t do this place justice!] Ordered online; navigating portal: user friendly! Arrived to receive a warm welcome & prompt service! Ready, confirmed pickup & was already Packaged perfectly!
To open to my delight- my fresh & meaty order, custom made to orders, accurate, hot & delicious! Great quality! I got a head start & indulged in the parking lot, as I was enjoying a LIVE podcast. It was perfect timing & my 1st meal of the day. I already knew when I came to LA, I was stopping by IRV’s. I had just left farmers market/ the Grove. With all of those selections there, I still waited to order & eat @ Irv’s. I did the same exact thing a few weeks ago. Irv’s is my “go to” spot while on the quest for the best burgers in town!” – hands down!

If you’re in LA and craving a legit burger, Irv’s Burgers is a must. The roadside vibe is chill and no-frills, but the Roadside Double is the real reason to pull up.

Thin patties with crispy edges, melty cheese, fresh toppings, and a soft bun that somehow keeps everything perfect. Nothing overcomplicated — just done right.

I’ve had a lot of burgers around LA, and I still think their Roadside Double is the best one I’ve had. Simple, satisfying, and hits every time.

When Eater magazine ranked Irv’s as one of the best burgers in LA, I had to get here. Well, that day has come! This is truly spectacular. Easily one of the top 5 burgers I’ve ever had anywhere in the world. Top it off with an Orange Creamsicle, pure bliss.

Eating the best burger is an experience that delights all your senses. It starts with the appearance: a perfectly toasted bun that’s slightly crispy on the outside but soft on the inside, enveloping a well-cooked, juicy patty. As you take the first bite, the fresh crunch of the lettuce intermingles with the sweetness of ripe tomatoes and the tanginess of pickles. The cheese, a perfect melt, adds a creamy texture, while a flavorful sauce ties all the elements together without overpowering them. Each bite is a harmonious blend of textures and flavors that leaves you completely satisfied. Irv’s Burgers was alright! 4 out of 5.

In a town famous for burgers, this ranks up there as one of the best. It’s been open since 1946 and used to be a famous stop on Route 66.

I stopped in tonight for my first time after work, and I definitely won’t wait a long time before stopping in again because I truly loved it. The parking lot is small but the restaurant was absolutely packed when I got in so I knew I was in the right place.

We ordered the Irv’s Double Burger, which was fantastic, the Tuna Melt, which was also very good, the Grilled Cheese, which was very buttery and great as well. I’m a big fan of their french fries as well and honestly I was really impressed tonight. It’s very organized on the inside and the staff is really great about getting all the items out quickly. Definitely somewhere I would recommend to any fan of burgers or to aby one looking for a great casual meal.

Irv’s Original with a side of onion rings was delicious. The burger patty was smashed and crisp on the edges. The onion rings were perfectly fried and crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Their house made sauces compliment the food well. 10/10
