I stopped here for lunch during a road trip after searching for a Thai place on my route and seeing the great Google reviews. I was so disappointed that I had to write a review to warn other travelers. This place is not worth your time or money. I was literally the only patron in the restaurant when I was there (not a good sign, but I was still banking on the positive reviews). Service was fast and friendly. The food, however, was just terrible. I love Thai food and have eaten in Thai restaurants all over the eastern half of the US. This was, hands down, the worst I have ever had. My green curry was salty, oily, skimpy on the vegetables, and just not good. In addition to being disappointed by the food, the price was also not worth it. Including the tip, I paid $15 for a glass of lukewarm tap water, a cereal-bowl sized serving of green curry, and a moderate sized portion of white rice. I hate leaving negative reviews, but this was incredibly disappointing.

A surprising find in a town filled with fast food. The staff is extremely friendly and will work with your tastes. The food is extremely authentic and some of the best Thai I’ve ever had. I’ll be coming back every chance I can.

Excellent! The food was terrific and the service was even better. I was in Effingham, IL on a business trip and was hungry for Thai. Googled this location and thought I would give it a try. The food was terrific and the owner was very friendly. I have never taken the time to “review” a restaurant before but thought this place deserved a little extra praise.
