This was my first time eating here and it had come highly recommended. We were greeted with such warmth as if we were regulars. The service was friendly and attentive and very accommodating. The food was not only delicious but perfectly portioned so you weren’t stuffed at the end of the meal. And because of that we had room for desert. I know my cannolis and you can tell this was freshly prepared and filled because the shell was crunchy, not soggy. The vibe was like eating at my grandparents house. I highly recommend.

We have been regular customers at La Familia Ristorante and Pizzeria for many years and have always enjoyed bringing family and friends when they visit. For Christmas Eve, with my daughter and two granddaughters in town, we made a reservation for five and paid the required $200 deposit.
The restaurant was busy due to the holiday, which we completely understood. Service was slow but expected, and we were enjoying the live music and conversation. After receiving our entrées, a frightening incident occurred: my 15-year-old granddaughter was drinking from her glass when it suddenly shattered in her mouth. I saw it happen. Glass shards landed in her mouth and in her plate of food.
We immediately brought the broken glass and plate to the staff and asked if the entrée could be remade. A woman who was identified as the owner came over. She did not ask if my granddaughter was okay, offered no apology, and stated that they would not remake the food, even after I offered to pay for a replacement.
At that point, we asked for to-go boxes and our check. The check arrived without deducting the $200 deposit, requiring me to go to the desk to have it corrected, and a refund was needed since the total did not reach the deposit amount.
What was most upsetting was not the accident itself, those things happen, but the owner’s complete lack of concern, empathy, and professionalism. We were treated as though we were trying to take advantage of the restaurant, despite being frequent patrons who had already paid for the meal.
The wait staff has always been kind and professional, which makes this experience even more disappointing. Unfortunately, after this incident, we will not be returning and will be taking our business elsewhere

Classic Italian restaurant. We came here for a rehearsal dinner. Everything was family style and was excellent. So many classic dishes. Everything was set up as soon as we walked in. Staff took a moment to describe the dishes to us before we ate. They were very attentive and quick. Food was excellent everything was delicious.

I was visiting from South Florida yesterday and my friend took me here for lunch. Di our waitress was excellent and is a great asset to this establishment. The food and fresh baked bread was top notch I had the cavatelli with gravy and ricotta cheese. A must try dish.

We ended up here for lunch by accident–lucky us! We received a gracious greeting followed by attentive but not intrusive service. We shared the scrumptious stuffed zucchini blossoms and the delicious pear salad, both served over baby arugula salad. The bread was pillowy and fresh, accompanied by a complimentary plate of marinated carrot coins. Due to time constraints we skipped what promised to be decadent desserts–that will be corrected on our next visit.
When we complimented the old-world decor and music, we were told that there is live music every Wednesday starting at 6.

Always had a good experience here. Went with my mother Saturday. Environment and staff was nice , but I ordered chicken savoy , and it was God awful. Very surprising. No flavor , no organization…very disappointing. Maybe just a bad night but awful
