We stopped at the Sonic at 135th and Maple Street in Wichita on Thursday night, 02/19/2026 and ordered two $6 meals at the drive through. We were told to move to the window for our total. When we got there the young man at the window told us it would be $17.83 for our order. We told him we had ordered two $6 meals and asked how the total could be that high. He told us that the $6 meals had been discontinued that week and it was now normal combo price. We paid the price we were given and left. I see online today that Sonic is advertising the $6 meals on every social media platform. I checked the Sonic that we had just ordered at the night before and they were also still advertising the $6 meals. We were lied to and overcharged by the employee at Sonic.

Ordered 3 large jumbo popcorn chicken. Only asked for BBQ. Staff was not competent enough to put 1 BBQ, ended up with 10 ranch and no bbq. Called and asked to deliver, (I can see sonic from front door). No help. Won’t visit again. Terrible service.

On sunday, 9-14, I purchased a hot dog. The only thing I ate. I got food poisoning. I had to go to ER. i called for two days only to be met with a busy signal……TWO DAYS!!!!

How does one person not know what B.L.T IS?!!!! These kids dont have a CLUE about food, or how to count money back.. and when I asked for the receipt he said sorry, I dont give those out. (some blonde headed kid that looked lost?) I know the food service market is going down because these kids can’t, count, read or read a clock.. I will never come back. They hacked and extra couple of bucks, (saying we don’t give receipts back?) … This isn’t the only one with incompetent employees. U keep hiring these kids, your gonna lose business..

Another disappointing visit to sonic. I’ve pretty much decided not to do business with Sonic anymore. My daughter and I went after school to get simple half-price drinks. My daughter ordered a vanilla Dr. Pepper which was fine. I ordered a chocolate Coke and it was the most awful, disgusting sludge I’ve ever been served. I couldn’t even taste the coke. We were already home when I discovered how wrong it was. I had to throw it down the sink. Picture shows the sludge after pouring it out.

Large menu. Some is good. Some is not. The sale prices are nice. The new foot long Philly cheese steak is horrible! Foot long bun. Maybe 6 inches of meat and cheese. Staff is friendly.
