Enjoyed lunch at Korean Ssam and it was delicious. This was my first visit accompanied by a regular.
We had babimbop and various appetizers. Everything was great! Their kimchi is EXCELLENT! The family/employees are great and very attentive! Excellent service!

Today, 10/16/25, my husband ordered me the bibim naengmyeon because I am very sick with the Flu. We love this place and come here a lot. Unfortunately we ordered the wrong dish. The BIBIM Naengmyeon comes with no soup (still delicious regardless) not the Naengmyeon (the one that comes with soup. Because flu, I need the soup part the most. So he called and asked them if we ordered the wrong thing, they confirmed yes, he was like cool. Gonna order the right one now on DoorDash, thanks guys.
And people. Not only did they send me an extra container of cold soup (it’s supposed to be that way. Very delicious) for the buckwheat noodles I got earlier, BUT THEY WROTE THIS ON THE RECEIPT.
and I got a can of cinnamon punch 🙂
Every time we go in or order they prove, again and again, they are super great and caring people. Not to mention they have amazing food. Definitely support this local business.

In September 2024, we visited a cozy Korean restaurant in Sarasota, Florida. The staff was very friendly, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. We ordered a seafood pancake, which was crispy and fragrant, with a delightful zucchini texture. Among the side dishes, my favorite was the crunchy chayote, while E particularly enjoyed the potatoes. E’s cold noodles came with a serving of bulgogi. The cold noodles had a pleasantly chewy texture with a sweet and spicy flavor that was very satisfying. I ordered the soft tofu stew, which was labeled as mildly spicy but turned out to be quite hot, and it tasted excellent. I highly recommend this place for anyone craving Asian cuisine.

Visited yesterday for the first time at lunchtime. We just googled for a Korean restaurant and wow! the food is delicious, authentic, and fresh. Definitely coming back again. They sell kimchi in pint or quart, will buy next time to take home

This place is a hidden gem!! Highly recommend the kimbap 100/10 ☆☆☆☆☆ it was just me and my husband and we ordered ttoekboki, seafood pancake, kimbap, jajangmyeon, and bibimbap. The serving is good for 3-4 person and they gave lots of side dish so it was worth it!!! If you like sweet drinks, you should totally try the korean rice punch, its so good Definitely gonna comeback

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING i do not live here actually i live like 3 hrs from here and i am so glad we stopped. best korean food i have ever had they had everything i needed. the side dishes/ pickles were also so fresh and tasty!! the waiter was so kind and pleasing to talk to
they also had entertaining shows playing behind the bar. Would drive 3 hrs to eat here!!! seriously
update: i have been back since and it is just as good as the first time! i seriously love this little place and most would pass right by it, the owners are so kind and nice, genuine people, we talked to them about the chayote pickles they serve and they even brought more to the table because they knew we liked then, multiple times!! would recommend this Korean to anyone who asked!
