This review honestly hurts to write because I love Starbucks and usually go at least twice a day. Unfortunately, this was the worst experience I’ve ever had at any Starbucks.
I ordered and paid for a venti, but was handed a grande. That alone was frustrating, but the customer service made the situation worse. The employee at the drive-thru was extremely rude. For the first time ever at Starbucks, the tip screen was held out to me at the window and I was asked if I wanted to tip. If I choose to tip, I’m happy to do so, but being asked directly felt uncomfortable and inappropriate.
While I was asking a question about my rewards points, the employee shut the drive-thru window in the middle of me speaking and walked away. The store was not busy, and I sat there for nearly a minute assuming he would come back to finish helping me. Instead, he stood inside talking with another employee and never returned to the window.
After pulling away, I realized the drink I was given was a grande instead of the venti I paid for.

Two girls waited on me on 10/6/25 and they were so caring and helpful. It was my birthday and the app was not working for me to get my free coffee and those girls helped me. The girl who made my drink was so sweet and wrote a happy birthday message on my cup. No one has ever done that before and she made me such a delicious drink. I wish I had gotten their names to give them recognition. It was my first time at that location and it was definitely a great first experience there. Will be going back!

Hooray for South Point Starbucks! I’ve visited several times since their opening, and each one has been great whether by drive thru or inside the cafe. Delicious iced coffees, Frappuccinos, Dragon drinks, and cake pops are among my favorites all created by a very friendly crew. This is a fantastic addition to our town.

I usually stop at the one in Ashland on my way to work but they’re always way too packed and seem to mess my order up a lot. I’ve been stopping at this one and the girls that work late in the evenings are so darn sweet and so polite. My drink is never messed up and always tastes just how it should. I have never waited longer than five minutes or so for my order. Definitely my favorite coffee spot in the tristate.

This Starbucks seems to always get my order wrong. And if I let them know it’s wrong the employees are always very rude about it like I have inconvenienced them. They need to slow down and listen to their customers orders a little better and try being more friendly when there is a problem. I ordered an iced Carmel latte this morning they made me a machiatto when I told her it was the wrong drink she told me we’ll that’s a machiatto. We’ll I didn’t order that I ordered a Carmel Latte! I had to tell her three times what I ordered before she finally went and made a Carmel latte I ordered to start with. Slow down. Listen. And be friendly!
