An absolutely unforgettable dining experience!
We celebrated my friend’s birthday dinner at Harrison’s Speakeasy on Jefferson, and I can’t say enough good things about it. There were 12 of us, and we enjoyed an incredible seven-course meal that was truly out of this world. Every single dish was bursting with flavor and creativity from the appetizers to the desserts, it was perfection.
The chargrilled Caesar salad deserves its own mention because it was unlike any Caesar I’ve ever had before, smoky, crisp, and full of depth. The chef is phenomenal, talented, professional, and clearly passionate about creating an unforgettable experience. You can tell she pours her heart into every plate and truly makes any event feel special.
Our server, King, was fantastic, polite, professional, attentive, and so friendly. He managed our large group with ease and made everyone feel taken care of. He has such a great and cool energy while maintaining total professionalism, truly a pleasure to have him as our server!
And now the ambience of Harrison’s Speakeasy is next-level. The warm lighting, stylish wood details, and mix of colored couches create a classy yet cozy vibe, I would call It a very “Frank Sinatra evening” meets modern Detroit chic. It’s elegant but down-to-earth, and you instantly feel comfortable. I also noticed they have a beautiful open patio area with fun games for summer gatherings, can’t wait to come back for that!
This place is a hidden gem that deserves all the praise. Perfect for birthdays, date nights, or any celebration. Highly recommend!

Food and drinks were great. We got the Calamari, Brussels (feta instead of blue cheese) Salmon and Sea food boil. I tried the Salted Carmel old fashion. Our server was Autumn. She was nice and attentive.

Come here occasionally to catch up with the girls and it’s always a good time! Great drinks and food. Service is always on top of things. They almost always have live music so if you want a quieter area you can go outside in the summer for the patio. Such a pretty place!

I just moved to the area in the summer and have been wanting to stop in this place to check out the “Speakeasy”. It’s not really a Speakeasy because it’s wide open to the public and there’s no hidden door or code to get in. So you really shouldn’t call yourself a Speakeasy. The indoor atmosphere was really cool, nostalgic, nautical since we are in boat town USA. They do have a large outdoor area, but it was still closed due to the colder weather and rain. Wouldn’t mind checking it out when that’s open, but doubtful because of the $$ and the drinks. We went in for cocktails, and my girlfriend had the mac & cheese which she enjoyed. I did not eat. She had the basic Long Island iced tea top shelf, which she enjoyed. But then it went completely downhill from there. I ordered a smoked old-fashioned. What I got was a cheap maraschino cherry muddled (the menu says Luxardo cherry which is a premium cocktail garnish which this was Not. Probably cutting corners because Luxardo cherries are quite a bit more $) along with some orange slice muddled in a snifter glass, which I’ve never had an old-fashioned in. The large round ice cube was a nice touch, but it was homemade and melted within a few minutes. The drink was nearly red from the muddling of the cheap maraschino cherry. It didn’t come smoked, so the server had to take it back and smoke it. This was probably one of the worst old-fashioned I’ve had. And these drinks and food were not cheap. There was not a huge selection of alcohol especially Whiskey. Also, we went on a Friday at 830p, made reservations, but there was barely 8 or 10 people there, left at 930p and there were less people. The entire staff looked like college aged staff and probably don’t know what a true craft cocktail is. Very disappointed overall.
This is a Speakeasy.
“A modern-day speakeasy is a legal, upscale bar that mimics the secrecy and ambiance of 1920s Prohibition-era drinking spots. They are characterized by hidden, unmarked entrances (like behind bookcases or phone booths), intimate, dimly lit settings, and a focus on high-quality, craft cocktails. These venues prioritize an exclusive, experiential, and often romantic atmosphere.”

Harrison Speakeasy offers a taste into an intriguing menu that differs from every restaurant in the area. Each plate is carefully curated to delight and suprise the pallet. We were blown away with our meals!! We had such a wonderful experience!
Josephine has created a top notch environment! And our waiter Billy was the absolute best with his high energy and spot on recommendations!

1st time here and looking forward to returning. Nick was our bartender/server and did a fantastic job. He was attentive, professional and welcoming. There were a few regulars there and they made us feel very welcomed. The drinks were fantastic and reasonable priced. The food was good… flavor combination profile was fantastic.

I had high expectations for this restaurant, but unfortunately, the experience fell short in several key areas. Despite the restaurant being relatively quiet during our visit, the service was slow and poorly organized. Even though we had a reservation for five made weeks in advance, they struggled to find us a table. We waited nearly 15 minutes before anyone took our drink order, and once we did order, the drinks took an unreasonably long time to arrive. Surprisingly, the restaurant was out of standard wine glasses, so our wine was served in Champagne flutes, something that felt more like a rushed workaround than a thoughtful choice.
Meal timing was another letdown. Dishes arrived at inconsistent intervals, preventing our group from enjoying the meal together. One person in our party didn’t receive their meal until an hour and a half after we were seated. We requested to cancel that last meal and asked for the bill, but the meal still arrived, along with the bill and a to-go box. Considering all these issues, we were disappointed that no part of the bill was discounted or comped as a goodwill gesture. For a restaurant that wasn’t busy, the lack of service and coordination was unacceptable. Sadly, this experience did not meet our expectations, and we will not be returning.

1st timers. Kerry and the kitchen staff (OWNER) to help the bar, excellent work!
Place was packed and unfortunately understaffed, but someone who dines out often, they did a phenomenal job reacting to the situation very professionally, the owner was working in the Kitchen and came to the bar to help slang drinks. Servers helped pick up the slack. Great work Harrison’s we can’t wait to come back!
Food was phenomenal, drinks were great! And very fair prices for the area!

I would highly recommend this restaurant. The staff is exceptional, the food is delicious, large portions, with very reasonable prices and the decor is really great. If you haven’t been there, you should make a point of trying it. It’s open Sunday thru Monday and closed on Tue. and Wednesday. Also remember to check out the outdoor patio for future summer use. It is very unique. This is a wonderful, distinctive restaurant. Get there you will really enjoy it.
