Came to Benihana for a solo birthday lunch and babyyyy… it was ALL the vibes ✨
From the moment I walked in, the views were gorgeous and the customer service was top tier. Everyone was hands-on, attentive, and made the whole experience feel special. The chef did his thing on the grill — food was fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection.
And shoutout to Kandace, our server! She was so warm, helpful, and truly made the experience even better.
10/10. If you’re looking for great energy, amazing food, and service that makes you feel celebrated — this is it. ✨

I had a great experience at Benihana! I went in for dinner and ordered the Benihana Delight, and it was absolutely delicious. The food was cooked perfectly, full of flavor, and the entire hibachi experience was fun and enjoyable. The staff was friendly, and the atmosphere was lively and welcoming.
The only downside was that toward the end of our meal, we felt a bit rushed. We had an 8:30 reservation and the restaurant was running slightly behind, which we were completely understanding about. Because things started a little later, we ended up finishing just past closing time — not by choice, but due to the delayed start. It would’ve been nice to feel a little more relaxed during those final moments.
Overall though, the food was amazing, the staff was kind, and I would definitely come back again!

We made a reservation for 5 people at 7:30. They made us wait 30 mins to be seated and after being seated they made us wait for an hour to get food. Went and spoke with the manager and he seemed liked he didn’t care and said we should order appetizers if we are hungry and tiered of waiting. He didn’t care one bit and that’s unacceptable. The food was okay – but not worth the money. I would recommend coming here – Dallas has many better places.

Great experience at Benihana in Dallas!
The hibachi was excellent—high-quality food, perfectly cooked, and a fun, engaging experience all around. Everything was fresh and flavorful, exactly what you expect from a solid hibachi spot.
The night was made even better by the amazing company at our table, which really added to the overall experience. As a guest of the Westin across the street, I knew about the 25% hotel guest discount and had to ask for it, but it was applied without any issues.
Great food, lively atmosphere, and a good value when staying nearby. Definitely recommend if you’re in Dallas!

From the moment we arrived, the service at Benihana was exceptional. Manager Adrian Drew went above and beyond to make sure our dining experience was perfect. He was attentive, professional, and genuinely cared that everything ran smoothly for our table.
Our server Diego deserves special recognition. The lunch service was almost over, yet he still welcomed us in with a smile and made sure we didn’t feel rushed at all. His friendly attitude and quick service really set the tone for a wonderful lunch.
The highlight of the experience was our Tappa chef, Jonathan. He was not only skilled at the grill but also incredibly attentive to every detail of our order. He listened carefully, made sure everything was cooked exactly the way we wanted, and kept us entertained throughout with his fun energy and great cooking show.
The food was delicious. From the fresh chicken, shrimp and tender steak to the perfectly seasoned fried rice. The combination of excellent food, friendly staff, and genuine hospitality made this visit outstanding from start to finish.

We celebrated my young teenage granddaughter’s birthday at Benihana, and our experience was absolutely wonderful. Christon, our Teppanyaki chef, went above and beyond—he was engaging, friendly, and incredibly talented. He made sure each of us felt included in the fun, and all of us—especially both the birthday girl and her little sister—were completely delighted.
Hanna, our server, was exceptional as well. She anticipated our needs, handled every request with ease, and made the afternoon feel effortless.
Our sushi and entrées were delicious, the girls loved their mango piña colada mocktails, and the adults enjoyed perfectly prepared cocktails. It was a fantastic celebration from start to finish. We’ll definitely be returning!

Let me start by saying I grew up visiting Benihana in Houston, every year for my birthday. I loved the fried rice and hibachi style cooking. We had an issue a couple of years ago with bad food at this Dallas location but decided to give it one more try. If I could give negative stars I would. We made a reservation for Saturday night at 5:30. The restaurant was already packed with two, separate, huge parties for 10 year olds and other large parties. We checked in about 7 mins before the reservation and did not get seated for an hour. We got to the table and everyone was seated, the two of us, another couple and a dad with his young son and daughter who were there for his son’s birthday. We all sat for 45 mins waiting on any type of service. No water no nothing. Finally the server arrived and read the receipts taped to the table. She said no one told her she had a table and she apologized a lot! There was a second server in training that was helping out. We all ordered water. The lady from the other couple asked for lemon. My wife and I asked for hot tea as well as water. The little boy and his sister ordered Japanese sodas. Not only did they get the water and tea orders wrong they forgot the sodas. When they returned they had a whole bowl full of lemons. The lady sent them back after using one wedge. We all ordered our food and were asked if we wanted Lobster butter or truffle butter for a $1 up charge. Turns out it was $6 each. About 10 minutes later we finally started getting food. The soup was fine but the salad which was always my favorite was hard to eat because the ginger dressing was so bitter. The chef arrived and started cleaning off the hibachi surface. He was using what appeared to already be dirty. Then he wiped then stainless edge and just smeared the grime all over it. Eventually it was clean enough to start cooking. He did the normal hibachi tricks and was really good at keeping the birthday child entertained. The food was subpar. The usually delicious mustard tasted strange, like a chemical. The steak had zero flavor and was cut into large bites. Hard to eat with no knife. I also think my shrimp was slightly under cooked as well as my wife’s scallops. In addition to our meals we ordered two of the wagyu, beef fried rice sides to take home. See attached picture for this $46 worth of food, which was had an uneven amount of meat. While we were in the middle of our meal they finally sat the child’s birthday party groups and they also had reservations. Needless to say, we got there 7 minutes before our reservation and left at 8:00. Two and a half hours. NEVER AGAIN will we eat at Benihana in Dallas. Horrible service and subpar food. Not worth the almost $250 we spent.

There has been a drop in the service since the new owners(management) have taken over. I knew they were going to be busy Valentine’s Day, but it seems as though they over booked. Our reservation was for 4:45, they were so unorganized that it took 15 minutes just to get checked in, finally at 5:30 we were seated, not too bad considering the day. There were 4 couples at our table, food is ordered, soup and salad served, chef comes out at about 6pm, and the vent doesn’t work. Table next to us is being cleared, so chef apologies and goes to talk to management. For some reason chef comes back still apologizing but no management. Table next to us is seated its now 6:20, chef leaves again says he’s not cooking with that broken vent, because smoke would be too bad, which we all agreed. Finally around 6:45, we were moved across the hall. Chef did say he would talk to management because of the inconvenience, but no management ever came to the table. A 4:45 reservation turned into a 3 hour marathon, the management is missing the mark, besides now charging for the sauces. The waitress and chef did both do an excellent job to make it right, and if you look at the bill they did discount the meal some what. I am very unhappy with management, bad management can drag down good employees to their level.

I went to try the Wagyu of the World special and I loved it! It was my first time trying Wagyu, our server and chef helped us navigate which options were best for us and everything tasted great. My server was Karen and my Chef was Cameron, give them a raise!

Went in at noon to the bar. Bartender not friendly at all. When I got my soup it was hair in there. She just “oh!” Took it brought another w an apology. By this time I’m over and the lunch has come out the chicken was so rubbery it was sad, it could have just been the bad taste in my mouth from the hairy soup but either way she called the manager, KEVIN! Across the restaurant.. can you void she doesn’t want her lunch. I still paid 10$ for the Saratoga but it was just unprofessional and distasteful! Literally distasteful!!!
