In 1978, Jet’s Pizza founder Eugene Jetts was about to buy a new home. But on the way there, his passion for pizza took over. Instead, he signed a lease on a space that would become the first Jet’s location. This Jets has went totally downhill. I asked for well done pizza and got one that had raw dough three times now. Oh yeah and it’s supposed to have butter cheese crust. Where is that at. You guys need to get your stuff together. Sad. Can’t even make a pizza right.

I usually get carryout. Great Michigan style thick pizza, crispy bottom crust, sauce is made well, seasoned well. Great overall flavor. My go to place. Just a few tables at my location. Mainly carryout or delivery.

Would have gotten 5 stars but the last delivery didnt have the anti tamper stickers. I personally didn’t eat it but others did. With tiktok showing the disgusting stuff some delivery drivers do to people’s food I think it should be standard to tape something to the box to indicate if it was tampered with during transport.

I went to pick up the pizza and at the cashier it tells me that my order will take a few minutes. After 10 minutes the same thing. After another 10 minutes I ask for confirmation by showing the phone number and it tells me another 2 minutes. In the end they give me the wrong order, and they hadn’t prepared my order yet. I had called to change the time, as shown on the receipt, but it wasn’t done. After 40 minutes from my arrival, it was done

Jet’s is my fave of all times but this was so bad it’s a first time i leave a bad review. I hope it was a one time thing. I know each is individually owned, and i usually get my fix at the 21 and garfield location…that one i’ve not had a miss in five years. This was just bad. Hope the owner sees this and knows i’m not BSing.

Coming from New York and the home of pizza, I will say Jet’s Pizza is a delicious Detroit twist on pizza. The cheese is great. The sauce is great, and the crust is outstanding. Everything that a Detroit deep dish should be. Only criticism to add would be, put some cup and char pepperoni on that.
